He did not get up to walk me out as I went to leave, but threw me a half-smile and said, "Thanks for coming by. I really appreciate it."
"I wanted to," I said. I told him to feel better soon and left for my parents' house.
On the second bus I reflected, expecting to feel something negative in response to our latest agreement-some pang of worry or regret chewing at the edge of my thoughts-but it couldn't be conjured. The ebook is available on Kindle for a very reasonable price. I bought it after I finished it up here. It was even better the second time around. Shout out if you know if he posts somewhere else or writes under a different name. Love this author.
I love your writing style, and I love how you're feeding us this story in little chunks! I know the book is out there, and I'll definitely buy it, but there's something nice about getting it in serial style, and anticipating when you'll post the next installment.
I love the deep complexity you've given your characters. It's a much more engaging read that then usual cum-fests that you find here.
I love the tender awkwardness of these young men and how their story is unfolding. You're a talented writer. I hope you make this a book. Gorgeous storytelling!
Ok, so here is how ridiculous I am... I have the ebook. Yep. Bought it. But I get a happy little twang every time I see a chapter post and stay up late reading it.
