"You will obey."

OBEY.

Lapis stared into the spirals. Despite herself, she felt a deep longing to see that woman again. To stare at those pillowy lips, those massive breasts... fuck, what was happening to her?

"Silly rude girl, your adorable friend just asked you a question." The voice giggled. "Why don't you answer it? Can you do that for me?" A pause. "Answer me, slut."

"Yes," Lapis whispered.

No, no, she had to fight this, had to--

OBEY.

Mocking laughter made her whole body heat up with humiliation and pleasure. "Then tell her... mm... that I have matters unfinished."

"She..." Lapis couldn't stop the words spilling out. She could barely hear her own voice, but she heard that pathetic, dazed note to it. She took a deep, shuddering breath, trying to steady herself. "She... has matters unfinished."

GOOD GIRL. The veil flooded her with rewarding images. Images of bouncing tits, swaying asses, of herself on her knees before the woman. She squirmed. GOOD GIRL. Images of Lapis clinging to the woman and suckling at her breast, eyes closed in bliss. She bit her lip. GOOD GIRL. Images of the woman covering the screen with kiss-marks with those perfect plump lips--

"I--" It was too much. It was overwhelming. Her mind rallied in a panic, and she reached up with a hand that suddenly felt like it was immersed in treesap., fumbling towards the veil. She had to get it off. Had to get it off now, before--

"No." The voice wasn't overpowering. It wasn't even scolding. It was just... certain of itself. A calm instruction to a disobedient pet, made with perfect confidence that Lapis would obey.

And Lapis felt her hand stop short.

Her heart fell like a fluttering falling leaf.

A hand grasped her shoulder. She breathed in the sweet lemongrass scent of Olivine's candle, and her heart started to pound.

"Good girl!" The voice sounded delighted. "My goodness, how easily you train. What a beautiful, suggestible one-track mind you have."

The spirals flowed into an image of the woman's perfect, flawless tits slowly swinging back and forth before her eyes.

Back and forth.

Like great pendulums.

"I can't wait to ruin you~"

"Oh." Lapis bit her lip. "I..." Back and forth. "I..." Back and forth. So soft, so full, so round, so smooth as they squished up against the other side of the screen...

Another candle moved in front of her face, and the revitalized lights scattered her thoughts like flying cinders.

"I can't wait to break your spirit and make you mine, my sweet little slut."

Lapis was wringing her hands, struggling to keep them under control. Her heart was pounding. She felt like she was burning up.

She needed to take the veil off.

She wanted to stroke.

OBEDIENT LITTLE PLAYTHING.

She needed to take the veil off.

She wanted to stroke.

Tits bouncing, lips smacking, Lapis's head shoved under the woman's skirt as she moaned in senseless pleasure...

She needed to... to take it off...

Wanted to... stroke...

"I can't wait to melt that weak little brain into goo between my fingertips~"

She needed to... needed to...

STROKE.

... stroke...

Lapis could barely breath.

"Doesn't this feel nice, sweetie?" the voice cooed, her beautiful voice overlaid with audio of women moaning and squealing, of wet, intimate sounds, of that incessant pulsing hum. "Doesn't your Miss make you feel sooooo good~?"

The lights flashed and pulsed and strobed. Inescapable. Irresistible.

GOOD GIRLS ALWAYS SAY YES.

"Yes!" Lapis squeaked.

"Yes, what? Yes, I'm making you feel good?"

Lapis's mind felt like mush. Her voice was slurred. "So... good... good... oh..."

GOOD SLUT.

Breasts bouncing in her face.

GOOD OBEDIENT LITTLE SLUT.

The lady's eyes shimmering with pink hearts.

YOU BELONG TO YOUR MISS.

Lapis's eyes mirroring those hearts as she fell to her knees before her Miss.

Her... Miss?

No... no, wait...

The stars pulsed, pumping her world full of that incessant light.

"N-No!" Lapis cried, trying with all her might to shut her eyes against the spirals, to ignore the endless array of intoxicating images. "No, no, I--"

YOU BELONG TO YOUR MISS.

"I can--" Her voice weakened.

YOU BELONG TO YOUR MISS.

"I can--"

YOU BELONG TO YOUR MISS.

She heard her Miss laughing. She saw countless unknown beautiful women entwined in each other's arms, kissing and grinding and licking and sucking, and herself at the center of it all, eyes filled with pretty pink spirals as her Miss watched from her throne with a smirk...

"I... I won't..." she whispered.

YOU BELONG TO YOUR MISS.

"You've always belonged to me," her Miss purred in her ear. "You love me. You love obeying me."

"I..."

"You're only struggling because you know I'll win. Miss always wins."

YOU BELONG TO YOUR MISS.

"I... but..."

An image of herself on her knees, eyes vacant swirls, drooling and tongue lolling as she swayed back and forth, brainlessly masturbating...

"You've already lost, my sweet little pet~"

Lapis's voice failed her, and she... stared. She wanted to moan. It wouldn't let her. The spirals flashed. She saw Minni, wreathed in flowers, lounging back in a flowerbed and beckoning, a fingertip tracing delicately down her naked body...

YOU BELONG TO YOUR MISS.

She saw images of herself lying in a lavish crimson bed, drooling and masturbating herself stupid as the hands of the clock spun through entire days...

YOU LOVE TO LOSE TO YOUR MISS.

She heard coos of praise from her Miss, heard her own whimpers and moans and pleads for more, her own voice whispering that she loved to lose to her Miss, that her Miss owned her, that she was inferior and silly and just needed to obey and be a cute little slut...

YOU LOVE TO BE CORRUPTED BY YOUR MISS.

She did, of course she did, she loved being corrupted by her Miss, she needed to be corrupted, she needed to be a good little thrall to her beautiful perfect Miss...

Lights exploded across her screen, turning into a brilliant, overwhelming spiral of blinding pink hearts.

YOU HAVE BEEN CLAIMED BY MISS EVERWISH.

Dimly through the fog, through her own voice and her Miss's voice and the endless soundtrack of sex and lust and pleasure, Button's distant voice filtered through.

"What are you showing her?" Button's voice asked.

And Lapis drooled. She fumbled for the words, for the reply, for a way to tell Button just how wonderful this felt. When she managed to speak, her voice was barely a breath, scarcely a whimper.

"Hhhow... t-to feel... gggooood..."

~ ~ ~ ~

"Um." Lapis licked her lips. "N-Nothing. Just... I dunno." She cleared her throat. "I don't know. But I heard a voice. I saw... visions. It felt like it was..." She looked around nervously, feeling how hot her face was, how soaked her... well, nevermind that. "... trying to hypnotize me."

Her words hung in the air between the five girls.

"Ooh, me next!" Minni giggled and reached for the veil.

Laleli yanked it away with a glare. "Hang on, Lapis, are you saying it felt like there was... actually a spirit?"

Embarrassment and indignation mingled inside her. "I-I don't know. There's no way. It just... it's probably nonsense."

Olivine laughed, leaning in close. "It sounds like you just got a bit flustered imagining us all watching you."

"Are you saying you don't believe her?" Button asked.

Olivine shrugged. "Oh, I believe a few colored lights were too much for our poor pent-up Ranger, if that's what you mean."

Lapis bit her lip. "I. No, there was definitely..."

"Weren't you the one saying there weren't any ghosts?" Olivine's voice fluttered with amusement.

Lapis didn't know what to say, so she ducked her head. She could only pray it wasn't obvious how turned-on she still was.

"You didn't seem so confident when you took the visor off her, Olivine," she heard Laleli say.

Lapis's head was still spinning. She could almost hear that soft voice. Little hearts still seemed to dance out of the corners of her vision.

"I--I just figured she probably wanted out," Olivine retaliated, sounding defensive. "Besides, it's no fair letting the hypnoslut hog the game."

Hypnoslut. Lapis felt a little sway enter her at that.

"Yeah, I bet." Laleli folded her arms. "Or you noticed there was something weird going on. Like back upstairs, in that linen room? You looked totally out of it staring at the curtains!"

"I did not."

"Uh, you absotively did, you total lia--"

"Guys!" Lapis burst out. She blinked rapidly, forcing her head as clear as she could get it as the others turned to look at her. Button looked spooked, Olivine cross, Laleli on-edge and Minni intrigued. "There's--there's no ghost, because there's no haunting here. So let's just rule that out immediately."

Laleli frowned. "There could be, though."

"No, there couldn't, because this place has been inspected by teams of seasoned rangers six separate times." Lapis held up the fingers for emphasis. "Or did we all forget that? Twice they spent the night here. Six rangers with full experience dealing with the preternatural. No haunts. No tricks."

"That's what I'm saying," Olivine said, shooting Laleli a waspish glance.

Laleli glared back. "I dunno how you two can be so willfully clueless. Lapis, you just got hypnotized into a drooling mess by a veil. How much more proof--"

"First off." Lapis sat up straight and fixed Laleli with the withering look she usually saved for the smartass stableboy. "I did not get hypnotized. I just... I was just trying to understand the messages, and that took all my focus."

Laleli gave a cough that sounded suspiciously like 'I bet'.

"Second," Lapis pressed on, ignoring this, "like you said, veils contain lingering illusion magic. Anyone could exploit that if they knew even a shred of magic of their own. So which is more likely: Six separate investigations by men tried-and-true failed to turn up even a scrap of a haunt that's now manifesting twice in one day using bedsheets and novelty toys... or one or two of the sorority girls found out about what we were up to and decided to mess with us?"

The other four girls went quiet.

"How would they... even find out what we were up to?" Laleli said. "I know I've been gone, but last time I checked, the witches didn't exactly come into town that often. Which one of us would have..."

She trailed off.

Everyone turned to look at Minni, who was blushing bright red.

"I..." Minni giggled sheepishly. "I mean, um, like, the thing is..."

"Minni, you did not go to that sorority again," Olivine snapped. "They treat you horribly."

"Um, yeah." Minni hesitated, then gave a sheepish little shrug. The bimbo seemed to have finally found a sense of shame. "But, like, it's kinda... hot when they do that, you know?" She bit her lip. "Even if, like, maybe it'd be nice if they'd ask sometimes before--"

"Enough," Lapis cut in. She hoped her cheeks weren't visibly reddening. The thought of having been... taken advantage of... by one of those girls was too embarrassing to contemplate. "Minni, did you happen to... let slip our private meeting plans for tonight in one of your little visits?"

Minni twiddled her thumbs. "It's not always super easy to remember. I, um, sometimes let a lot of stuff slip, but I, like, I try not to tell them stuff about you girls."

"Oh, that's reassuring," Olivine said, rolling her eyes.

"That's probably it," Lapis declared. She made her voice as authoritative as possible, pushing any lingering flusteredness out of sight. "Minni, we'll talk about this later. For once, Olivine is right." She shot Olivine an annoyed look. "Hypocritical as crud, but right."

Olivine stuck out her tongue. "Minni knows her safeword. So did you, if I remember--"

"Anyways. This means there's at least one sorority witch hiding somewhere in the manor." Lapis's eyes narrowed. "And she is playing little games. I say we split up and catch her in the act."

"She could be somewhere outside," Laleli pointed out.

Thunder rumbled outside.

"Oh, right."

"Split up?" Button squirmed in her seat. "Um, is that smart? None of us have much we can do against magic, and um, sorry, Minni, but--"

"It's not like she's going to attack us." Olivine smirked. "If she won't go willingly, we'll tell Bismuth when we get back to the village."

Lapis nodded slightly. Bismuth was the week's appointed constable, tasked with resolving conflicts, organizing punishments, and investigating misconduct. She was somewhat infamously lenient, but even she wouldn't overlook it if a sorority sister abused her powers over villagers.

"We can split into pairs," Laleli said, her eyes drifting toward Button, then quickly darting away. Lapis had to resist the urge to roll her eyes--gods, were they still at that with each other? "That way we can... well, just to be safe."

Lapis was about to nod when she noticed a sly look enter Olivine's eye. "I'll go with Lapis," the butch said sweetly.

Lapis's face was definitely still a little red. She swallowed. Her and Olivine, alone in the manor, with Lapis still recovering from the veil, still feeling all subby and vulnerable. With Olivine's pride wounded by Laleli, she'd be looking for someone to 'punish', someone to vent that frustration on and 'prove' her authority...

"No pairs," she said a little too quickly, the words blurring together. "We can cover ground faster and better keep the witch from evading us if we each take a different section of the house."

"Great idea!" Minni giggled, eyes sparkling. Lapis could almost see daydreams of 'catching' the mischief-making sorority sister dancing in those eyes. Catching her, being forced to stay silent, manipulated into betraying her principles just to feel good and earn praise from her Mistress...

Lapis was startled to find her own heart fluttering slightly. Gods, what was wrong with her?

To cover for this, she glared at Minni. "You will be taking the first floor with me and staying close. And we are having a long talk about that sorority later. They've been taking way too much from you lately."

Minni and Olivine both pouted, for very different reasons.

Lapis thought quickly. She couldn't pair Olivine with Button for the second floor--poor Button would be a mess in Olivine's clutches. And cute as playing matchmaker for Laleli and Button sounded, the two wouldn't find anything if they were too distracted by each other. "Laleli and Olivine, you two take the upstairs. And Button..." She felt a pang of guilt as she realized the last location. "Are you... alright handling the wine cellar?"

Button gave a tiny, skittish nod.

~ ~ ~ ~

"I don't know why I figured you'd be any better, but wow did I not call you getting worse.

Olivine glanced back at Laleli as they scaled the stairs, her face already forming a sneer. "What?"

"You and Minni. You and Lapis." Laleli snorted. "You're such a freak for control."

"They know their--"

"Safewords. I know, I know." Laleli held up her hands defensively. "I'm not saying you're breaching any rules, but is this really, like, your whole personality now?"

Olivine looked at her a moment, then turned back ahead.

Laleli chewed the inside of her cheek. She'd been expecting deflection, or retaliation, or... something. Not that.

"Are you still working on those sculptures?" she asked after a moment. "Those were really good."

"... Yeah. They were. I mean, I thought so."

"You should get back into them!" Laleli seized on the small concession. "I loved those little animals you'd make. You seemed to really enjoy the work, too, so..."

Olivine glanced back at Laleli. "You're the only one who ever really noticed it."

Laleli's footsteps faltered slightly.

Oh.

She struggled for a response for a moment. She had a strange sense as they went up the stairs--a clarity she hadn't had downstairs, nor earlier upstairs. She felt intuitively that these stairs were neutral ground, somehow, that this was a space Olivine might be willing to listen. But those walls would go right back up the second they reached the landing, and they were almost there.

"Did you stop because I left?"

"No," Olivine said, her tone brusque and dishonest.

"Do the girls even know about those projects?"

"Minni thinks it's just..." Olivine shrugged. "I gave her a bunny once. She thought I was just doing it to tease her. And Lapis would just criticize my craftsmanship or something, probably."

"What about Button?"

Olivine shot her a look. "What about Button? That girl's so skittish, I feel like the only way I can get her to say anything to me is..." She clenched her fist. "The only way I can get anyone to talk to me, it feels like, it... it..."

They reached the top of the stairs. Olivine trailed off as she looked down the west wing. Laleli looked down the right, feeling a weight in her gut.

Laleli heard Olivine give a soft sigh. "But you, Laleli?" She jumped as she felt a hand brush over her ass. "I'm gathering you're craving some attention today."

Laleli felt her heart fluttering. She giggled weakly. "I--that's n-neither here nor there."

"Oh?" Olivine's lips brushed over Laleli's neck, full and soft. "Is that soooo? Neither here nor there? Then..." A soft kiss settled on the sensitive spot where Laleli's neck met her shoulder. "Where is it, sweetie?"

Laleli gave a little gasp. She found herself leaning into the touch. "O-Olivine, we were... I mean..."

"Gosh, the bard's suddenly gotten a lot less eloquent," Olivine mocked. Her hand slid between Laleli's legs. "I wonder why~"

"I-I--" Laleli squirmed around the hand, whimpering softly. "No, wait, we were--"

"Shut up and take this, slut," Olivine cooed. "Or safeword, if you really don't want it~"

A hand slid down Laleli's pants. Laleli moaned louder, writhing. She tried to find the word, tried to remember it, but suddenly it seemed so far away, suddenly she wanted to remember it so little...

"Gooood slut~" Olivine teased. "Doesn't that feel better? To submit? To admit that Olivine Knows Best?"

"I--" Laleli whimpered. "Y-You can't--="

"Olivine Knows Best."

A finger grazed through Laleli's panties over her... lower lips.

Laleli's mind was bubbing with pleasure. "I..." It would feel so good, so, so good... "I d-duh--don't--"

Those lips traced kisses along Laleli's neck. "Olivine Knows Best."

"You... you..." Laleli licked her lips, panting slightly.

"Olivine. *mwah* "Knows." *smack* "Best."

"You know best," Laleli whimpered.

A wicked little laugh was her only answer.

"La-La, are you gonna search your end, or what?"

Laleli jumped. She spun around. Halfway into the western wing, Olivine stood before a doorway, looking back at her with a quizzical frown.

Laleli was alone at the landing. She looked about, head spinning. She was alone by the stairs

"I..." She bit her lip. "R-Right."

Olivine gave her a curious look and disappeared into the side room.

Laleli turned back and headed for the first door--the door she'd startled Olivine in earlier.

Her imagination. It had to be.

But it absolutely didn't. And she knew it.

Thanks for the feedback! This particular group is all-human, but monster girls are still very common in this setting, and so is magic (Laleli is actually a magic-user, it just hasn't come up yet). Guests of the Mapleseed features bunnygirls as a major element, with more monster girls are on the way.

There *are* bits of mysticized old tech, like the Veil, but the tech level is overall firmly medieval, with maybe the rare firearm showing up. Stay tuned, and you may find the Glowpebble Path setting is closer to what you like than you think.

First chapter was a bit slow but this one was excellent, excited to see where you take this since the Baroness seems to be leaning on the more ‘harsh’ and corruptive side of your Doms, which are personally my favorites that you write.

The lore tidbits of this new setting are interesting, but overall I’m likely going to remain a bigger fan of the Cloistered Lands, as this appears to be less High Fantasy than that, mostly, I’m a bigger fan of monstergirls, and everyone here is human (other than the ghost obviously) unless I’m blind and missed something
