I have been following this story since chapter 1 and you have and are producing an excellent and well written plot. I look forward to the next chapter and reading how Billy's/Billie's complex situation develops. Especially what his "attorney" had in mind when he said he had a problem that "Billie" might be able to help out with. A dangerous "mob attorney" related problem perhaps?
