Maddie leaned over the back of Nate's chair, looking at the monitor. "Whatcha watching, little bro?"

Nate suddenly froze. Maddie backed up to give him room to turn around. Hastily, he closed out the porn tab before facing his sister. "Oh! Maddie, I didn't think you'd be home today."

"It's my day off."

"Right, of course it is..." Nate waited to see if his sister would say anything and break the tension. She did not. "Okay so, sometimes when you aren't around, I've been coming in your room to... to watch porn."

Nate winced, waiting for his sister to respond. But she remained silent. This world's Maddie watched him with a placid expression.

He moved to get up. "So I guess I'll-"

"Wait," said his sister, "I'd like to ask: Why have you been watching porn in here? You have your own room, your own computer and phone."

Nate looked up at his sister, his wide eyes making him look like a cornered animal.

She smiled back. "I'm not mad. I just want to know."

He cleared his throat. "I guess it's just that... I've developed this fixation toward you. Not something I would ever act on, really. It's a silly, weird crush. Being in here though, so near your stuff, things that smell like you... It really enhances the experience."

He hung his head. "Y'know, I never said it out loud before. Hearing it like that... I guess I'm pretty sick."

"Nate, honey, no. Don't talk about yourself like that. Look at me."

He did. His eyes focused back on his sister, and he suddenly remembered she was naked. His eyes immediately fixed onto her exposed breasts.

She either didn't notice or didn't care. "You aren't sick. You are at a sensitive period in your sexual development right now, and however you choose to handle that is beautiful. It isn't sick to appreciate beauty around you. Honestly, I'm flattered."

As she watched, the original Maddie started to blanche as the alternate kept talking. How was this world worse than the last one?

"You can't mean that," said Nate, tearing up slightly. "We both know what a fuck up I am. There's no way you could accept someone who would do this as family."

His sister thought for a second. "Let me show you."

The Empathetic! Maddie sank to her knees in front of her brother. With her hands, she tugged down at his pants and boxers. He lifted himself slightly to assist her. His penis, which had slightly deflated since she entered the room, surged back to life.

She smiled. "That's the spirit."

Maddie took his dick in hand and held it in place as she licked up its full length. Nate trembled. She was incredibly gentle, nurturing. Nate's sister licked and kissed around the surface of his member, gradually ramping up his excitement, before finally taking it fully into her mouth.

The alter was excellent at giving head. She bobbed her head up and down, enthusiastically servicing her brother. Unable to control himself, Nate put a hand on the back of her head and increased the tempo.

"Oh my god, oh my god Maddie. I love you so much sis! This is amazing! I- ah- I can't believe this is happening. Thank you! Guh! I love you!"

Maddie said nothing, couldn't with her mouth full, but met his eyes with a compassionate and understanding expression.

Maddie felt like she had a migraine. Or maybe a case of vertigo. Was she experiencing whiplash?

"Doesn't mean they are like me. Doesn't mean they are like me. Doesn't mean they are like me," she chanted to herself.

"Enjoying your freedom?"

Maddie's skin crawled. By the end of this, she would have a phobia of her own voice. Assuming there was an end to this.

When she turned around, she found it was Tuxedo intruding on her mental breakdown. The strange woman had a maddening sneer on her face that made Maddie want to toss her through the Type A door and leave her there. Since their previous meeting, the well-dressed woman had acquired a china tea cup from somewhere and was now sipping from it. Maddie wondered if she found something about this circumstance entertaining.

"Oh, I'm free huh? Sure as fuck feels like I'm trapped out here."

Tuxedo nodded. "Swearing now. I like it. Playing the goody two-shoes doesn't fit a hottie like you."

Maddie covered her tits with her towel. "How the hell do I get out of here?"

"I told you. Pick a door, any door. Most importantly, stop being a coward and go through one."

"And get stuck with one of these psychos? No thanks. As far as I can tell the doors only appear from out here, not in the worlds themselves."

"Oh that's right," said Tuxedo. "The Manager forgot to tell you how to use your Cuff.

"There's a button beside the display. The right side. You can't see it, but you should be able to feel it. Pressing that opens doors. When you're inside of a world, it should open a portal back to the outside. I don't recommend pressing it out here though. It'll just open a portal to whatever reality happens to be closest without putting them through the filter that guarantees you won't die from walking in the door."

Maddie blinked a couple times, trying to process this information. "You... really should have told me that to begin with."

Tuxedo took a sip of her tea. "We should have. Maybe now you'll get out of our hair. Or at least be less boring."

Maddie opened her mouth to tell the mystery woman off, but suddenly Tuxedo vanished into the surrounding darkness. The tea cup remained, and shattered on the ground.

Maddie looked at the ground, trying to find every disparate shard so that she wouldn't cut her bare feet on them. "Well fuck you too, lady."

Soon after, Maddie found another door. Her display was different this time. Instead of the circular glyph, there was a simple X. Beside that were the words Only Child.

"Well that solves one problem," Maddie said to herself, currently too annoyed with at least three different iterations of her brother to be bothered at the thought of living in a world where he never existed. "Still, I better be cautious."

Maddie put her face through the door.

Only Child:

For once, the door didn't open directly into Maddie's room. Instead, she found herself looking into the kitchen from the perspective of the pantry. Based on the light coming in through the window it was still pretty early morning, meaning that no one should be coming downstairs just yet. So Maddie opted to, for the first time, walk through a door.

Walking from the "outside" to a world felt just as seamless as leaving her world had. The only real change her body felt was the sudden presence of warm air. Maddie took a deep breath. It smelled like home.

As expected, the door to the outside hadn't lingered. When Madde turned around, all she saw was her pantry. She considered testing the Cuff's capacity to open a door, but opted against it. For all that Tuxedo had told her, she didn't know if her interdimensional skeleton key had limited battery life or needed time to charge. She'd just have to be ready if she needed it.

Considering it was always dawn when Maddie checked out these worlds, she had no way of knowing how long she'd been stranded. If she had to guess, it had been at least two hours and she still hadn't had breakfast. So Maddie decided to take the liberty of raiding her new home's kitchen.

The interior of the fridge was the first difference Maddie found between her first world and this one. Her mother's healthy food, the organic vegetables, Greek yogurt, and soy milk, were all gone. In fact, there wasn't even milk. There was orange juice, coffee creamer, and a surprising amount of beer. Maddie's parents didn't even drink, and she wasn't old enough to drink. (Although, it was possible that this version of her was a year older.) Beverages aside, most of the fridge was dedicated to junk food or meat, with some Chinese take-out leftovers in the corner.

Not finding anything she liked to eat, Maddie poured herself a glass of orange juice and checked the pantry. The pantry had several different kinds of pasta, but mostly it had more junk food. Still, at least her favorite kind of Pop Tarts were amongst the heap. Maddie took out one silver package to eat with her glass.

Maddie did her best not to think about her situation as she had breakfast. Yes, she was worried that she'd never see her real family again. Yes, her understanding of the world she lived in was permanently damaged and she didn't know how to cope with that. Yes, she felt like she'd be sucker punched in the gut and was desperately trying to forget most of the things she had seen so far that day. But hey, at least she had a Pop Tart.

With some food in her stomach, Maddie decided it would be best to go ahead and find her room. She had some negative associations with it at this point, but she was really tired of being naked.

Maddie climbed the stairs to the second floor, dragging her towel on the wooden steps behind her. She noted the framed photos hanging beside the stairway, much like the ones from her world. Well, mostly like. The Flitt family had a tradition of one family photo every year. They didn't hang up every single one, but they did keep several mounted to the wall. In this world, Maddie couldn't help but notice the absence of her brother. Not having Nate in the family pictures... There was something chilling about it. Maddie couldn't help but feel that she'd killed her only brother, although she knew that wasn't accurate.

The photos did feature the other three members of her family. There was Maddie, gradually developing into the young woman she was now across six different time periods. There was her dad, Sam. He was a handsome, well built man. He was thin, but not scrawny like Nate. There was obvious muscle on his frame, he just wasn't built like a bodybuilder. He was only in his early forties, but staying in shape and not losing his hair made him substantially more attractive than most men his age.

Then there was Maddie's mother, Sophie. She had long, red hair, a trait that had not been passed on to either child. Her breasts were also a good cup size bigger than Maddie's, a trait the daughter wished had been inherited. She tended to wear glasses and, unlike Sam, was very thin, almost frail. Maddie supposed Nate took after her a bit.

Maddie paused at the fifth photo. They'd all been different, but this one was wrong.

In previous photos, usually Sam and Sophie would cuddle against each other while Maddie would stand in front of them. Or, when she got too tall for that, Maddie would stand on the other side of her mom.

In the fifth photo, there was only Sam and his daughter, his arm around her waist. Also, Sam had shaved his beard. It looked very different to Maddie, but it didn't make him appear younger.

Maddie moved to the sixth and last family photo. This one wasn't even professionally shot. It was just a selfie taken on their couch, with Maddie resting her head on her dad's shoulder.

Maddie felt her stomach drop. This wasn't just a world where Nate had never been born. This was a world where... something had happened to her mother.

She considered opening a portal right then. This world would not be hers, couldn't be. She wasn't willing to leave behind another person she loved. But, she reasoned, it would be dumb to leave without clothes. She could just grab some supplies and then leave to find a better world.

Maddie made it to the second floor and found her bedroom door closed. She frowned. Usually she left it open when she wasn't home. Could this world's Maddie be in there right now? That would make sense, in every other world she had just gotten out of the shower. But if she was about to run into herself, what the hell would she say?

Apprehensive, Maddie approached the door. She knocked.

A male voice spoke, "Back from work already, baby girl?"

It was her dad.

Maddie looked down at her naked body. She couldn't let him see her like this. But she needed the clothes. And she wouldn't be staying...

"Uh, yeah Dad! I came back to take a quick shower. Just need to come in and grab some clothes real quick."

She clenched the towel to her body at her shoulders with both hands, then took a deep breath. Maddie opened the door and stepped through.

Sam Flitt was seated at her computer desk and spun to face his daughter. Immediately, her eyes went to his fly. She breathed a sigh of relief when she found it was firmly zipped and his genitals were nowhere in view.

Sam looked his daughter up and down, a look of befuddlement on his face. "Maddie-kid, you left for work five minutes ago. Did you really need another shower?"

"Yeah," said Maddie, squirming. "I forgot to wash my hair."

"Did ya? Your hair looks dry. So does that towel, actually. And why didn't you grab a full size towel? We have plenty."

Maddie cringed. "That is a great question, Dad. But listen I just need to grab-"

Sam held up his hand silencing her. "What is that on your wrist?"

Maddie looked toward her Cuff. Shit. "It's just- an accessory. They're really popular at work. Joanna got me one."

"It looks like a digital watch." Sam tilted his head, trying to read the display. "A big ass digital watch. And you wore it in the shower?"

"No! I put it on after."

Sam put a contemplative finger on his chin. "You remembered to take that into the bathroom with you, but not a change of clothes to wear?"

"Dad, I don't really have time for twenty question right now."

"...Kiddo, tell me the truth. You didn't really come home for a shower, did ya?"

Maddie hung her head. She should have known better. He'd seen through her always, ever since she was a little kid. "No."

He nodded slightly and rose from his chair. "I understand completely. It looks like you're dealing with a lot right now. You don't have to say a thing, unless you want to."

Maddie felt herself tearing up. She'd lost her home for reasons that didn't make sense. She didn't know if she could get her real family back, and all of these worlds were too horrible. It was a lot. Too much.

She needed her father.

Sam approached with his arms wide, and without thinking Maddie embraced him. Her towel fell to the floor between them. She buried her head in his chest, crying softly.

"I'm sorry," she tried to explain. "I'm not her, the one you know. I just got here. And then I found out about Mom and I don't think I can-"

"I know, I know honey," said Sam. His hand rubbed her back in soothing circles. "I know it's been so hard since your mom died. It hasn't been easy on my end either. But I knew your mother for a long time, and I think she'd want us to be happy. Sophie wouldn't want both of us to keep... denying ourselves."

Softly, Sam laid his other hand atop his daughter's ass.

Maddie opened her eyes. "Dad?"

She hadn't noticed till then just how closely she was being held. How her breasts pressed into the material of his flannel shirt. There was a bulge around her stomach, where his crotch was.

"Yes, babygirl?" he said, his voice suddenly breathy.

Maddie pushed herself away, a move that was only partly successful as Sam kept ahold of her lower half. "I think we might be talking about different stuff."

Sam smiled. "I told you, it's okay. We both know how this happened. First, when Sophie passed away, you started sleeping in my bed for comfort. Overtime, you got comfortable and started wearing less and less to bed. We became more affectionate, cuddling on the couch, you sneaking me kisses on the cheek. You started sleeping closer and closer to me. I noticed. I pretended like I didn't because you weren't ready, but now... Well, look at you?"

As she continued trying to escape his grip, Maddie happened to glance behind Sam. She hadn't bothered looking to see what he had actually been viewing on her computer. She'd been too worried that he would have his dick out, like Nate. But now she saw the screen was filled with more photos. Photos of this world's Maddie, that she was very certain she hadn't taken on her Earth.

Maddie gulped. Her brain was fried with panic. This man, who looked like her father, was nothing like her father. (At least, she hoped.) There needed to be a way out of this, but how could she think with all of the screaming in her brain?

Okay, perhaps this world's Maddie was into him. Maybe she could use that.

She stopped struggling. "So, you did notice."

His smile broke into a grin. "Yes! Of course. I'm sorry sweetie, but subtlety has never been your forte."

"And you feel the same way?"

Solemnly, he nodded. "I struggled with it for a long time. But, how could I not love you with my everything? You're all that's left of my wife. You and her are only two women I will ever love."

As he talked, Sam's arms relaxed. Maddie took the chance to back out from his embrace. She didn't run though. She had no idea what to expect from this facsimile of her father. Showing fear might be a deadly mistake.

Maddie blinked the lingering tears from her eyes and tried to smile. "I'm so glad, Daddy. I never thought this would ever happen."

"Of course, baby girl." Sam reached down and pulled off his shirt. Maddie blinked. On her world, her dad was in good shape. OnlyChild!Sam was jacked. His pecs were more prominent than her boobs and he had an actual six pack. Despite herself, Maddie let her eyes trace the musculature of his arms.

Sam made direct eye contact with her as he bent down to pull down his pants. But as his pants and briefs reached below his knees, and before Maddie caught sight of her father's junk, the girl turned and headed for her closet.

"Sweetie?" he asked.

"Getting some clothes!"

He couldn't walk with his pants at his ankles. This would be her only chance.

Maddie grabbed randomly her hung up clothes, slinging a few sets of pants and shirts over her arm before she turned to run for the door.

Unfortunately, she turned and ran straight into her father's naked torso.

"Wow wow, kidd," said Sam, putting hands on her shoulders to steady her. "Where's the fire?"

"I just..." She couldn't find the words. He was so close to her. And so naked. Her entire body had felt his abdomen and it was like jogging into a brick wall. She was scared to look down at how rock-like he might be below the waist.

"I get it, kid. We've both been waiting on this for such a long time. It's normal to be overwhelmed." He gave her bare flesh a lecherous once over. "I know I am."

Maddie looked up at him in silence, her mouth agape. She needed an out. What tools were still at her disposal? Where was her escape-

Oh. Right.

Maddie wrapped her arms around Sam, an act he took as an invitation. The man crouched down and met her lips with his. Maddie took a deep breath through her nose and kissed him back.

It wasn't a bad kiss, considering the situation. Maddie wasn't the most experienced at intimate acts like this, but he tasted like minty toothpaste. She appreciated that. Feeling as if she was having her teeth brushed by a tongue was better than finding out what her father tasted like.

Sam was experienced at pleasing women, and meant to apply all of these skills toward this beautiful woman. The coy way her tongue barely entered his mouth, and the way her mouth constricted to allow him little access smacked of inexperience and nerves. Very different from his first kiss with Sophie. Except for the taste.

As his hands ran up and down her back, he felt how similar her body was to Sophie's well. It was the same frame and the same skin, just a few decades younger.

What else was the same?

Sam pulled one hand off of his daughter's back, moving it to between them. Gently, he ran a finger up the opening of her shaved vagina. Maddie shook in his grasp. Into her mouth, he purred. He felt so young right now.
