This was rife with really distracting spelling and grammatical errors.

Could have been better

It's a fairly established scenario, but the pacing was okay and the action none too far-fetched. However, as one of the other readers has commented, the spelling and grammar were wildly sloppy ("I will right the next chapter"?).
