The humor and insight are wonderful

It's always heartening to see the good guy come through hurt and depression and find that life's even better now the second time around. Although it wasn't necessary for the story, it would have been nice to have seen how he met Claire and what she saw in him that made her want to be with someone who was as low as he was at the time. Regardless, good little story. Nice work.

There is absolutely nothing in all of reality that is as soothing to a man's soul as a woman. That feeling of being hugged into her soft warmth...I think a wife is the only person a man is allowed to show vulnerability with. Husbands protect their wives from physical harm, and wives protect their husbands from mental harm.
