My distaste for this exercise in hate and violence kept me from finishing. Almost every boy knows the humiliation of a large and older boy. If this "study" is going to allow for assault and possible rape, then it is not out of the realm of possibility that you could murder without repercussions. Some good bones to the story, but there are too many aspects which derail a willingness to suspend disbelief. First, none of the volunteers seem to have realized, or investigated, exactly what they signed up for - they'd have to all be idiots to not have done so, and that's not how the author portrayed them. Second, one day on the island and everybody has shed their clothes? Third, the character of Linh is all over the place - willingly cheating as soon as she set foot on the island, then all concerned about her husband, then apparently not caring if he's even alive the next.

Where to begin? An erotic Lord of the Flies, sort of. But so many aspects of this story are so bad… No institution would ever approve a study like this, so uncontrolled, so dangerous, so pointless. These so-called sophisticated researchers chosen to be subjects would have immediately recognized the illicit nature of this so-called research: no detailed description of what the subjects would be going through, no approval forms from the IRB (institutional review board, no liability release forms, no notice of deception. Studies this destructive have been outlawed since the Milgram obedience studies in the 60’s and the Zimbardo prisoner simulation studies in the 70’s. Essentially research studies cannot cause physical or psychological harm to the test subjects. This so-called “study” could well - as a plot device - have been produced by some immoral private institution, but it could never be published in a peer-reviewed journal or presented at a conference because it is so grotesquely unethical, so why would the lead researcher be doing this?

Next, the commonly used but false tropes about women: some small percentage of women may have rape fantasies, but liking real rape? Nope, ain’t buyin’ it. Same with big cocks; some women may be size queens, but the notion that women will totally abandon their commitments and loyalties once they see a big cock is ridiculous. And men do not become rapists “in the wild” such as in this setting because they know in a few weeks they will be going back to the real world where they will be held accountable. I suspect this story was written by someone with no real experience doing research.

Any data collected would be virtually useless. So twenty people get dropped off on an island with supposedly adequate natural resources to sustain them for 90 days. Nothing is mentioned about anything else that may be needed, such as prescription medications. Nothing said about emergency medical care, satellite phones, radios or other forms of communication for emergency purposes. And nothing about supplies or tools other than the clothing everyone was wearing on the day they were dropped off. You simply do not do that, even if you are watching by a drone.

Also 20 people got dropped into a no rules, anything goes scenario. This would not happen. The extant examples of flawed experiments should be enough to preclude this atrocious example of "science" gone wrong. The experiment is only into the first couple of days and already one man has committed assault with attempted murder, a rape, and sexual assault of two women. The assault victim has gone missing and probably needs medical attention, but he isn't getting it. No, this is really not just a bad story, but it is a stupid one as well.

It is required that the reader suspend belief when reading about five people, that's 25% of the population of the island, shedding their clothes and going native within the first 24 hours of the project. Even more disturbing is that a predator like Vince made it through the psychological vetting process. Unless that is, the researcher who gave the welcome speech knew about him and purposely turned a tiger loose among sheeple. That would be criminal because now she is just playing with people's lives.

This was a decent idea, but OP has no idea how to construct a story, write proper dialogue, create strong characters, or construct a plotline. Ain't much left after that, is there?
