A good start to a longer story perhaps? It felt a little rushed but that's okay. It takes time to describe a new alien world and its hard to do it in a shorter story. BTW 'parsec' is a unit of length not time. 5 parsecs is roughly equal to 100 trillion miles. I was going to suggest 'parsex' perhaps but Hedons don't understand humor!

Yes, you are correct about a parsec. That is why I added the T at the end, to kind of keep the sci-fi sound, but make it a bit different. I love your suggestion though! ParSEX would have have been awesome! Thanks for tuning in.
