I got the fire started, the pitchforks sharped, and the villagers all whipped into a frenzy. I look over and see the wacc branding iron is glowing red. Now you go and pull it out, thanks a lot. Dang it. Oh great story. Loved the twist.

I know! Where is that goodhubby gal? Those branding irons will still get some use!

The story could've gone in so many directions. You sandbagged me in the end. You have an incredible tongue in cheek style that looms out there in a vacuum of incredible drama or potential drama and then neatly tie up the ends. Thank you for your offering.

It's in the wrong category. Don't you know that Loving Wives aren't allowed into the category of loving wives! A faithful and loving wife has no place here! Loving Wives is reserved for faithless, hateful and self-centred sluts, and spinless caricatures of men, so maybe try another category, Non Human, perhaps. After all, it's traditional to put a story in a category that has nothing to do with the story!

Actually I found it refreshing. I love the faithful wife. I have one and I love her to death.

Greta story. She did nothing wrong. She was just stating what the asshole wanted her to do. It was said with dispassion. She probably wanted to take it slow so her husband didn't 'over-react' right away. To the commenters who are batching she is a bad wife, really?

This is a loving wife!

If she had spoken to her husband when she first knew about the terms he would have never had to have said no at the midnight hour. Also, had the firm had a handle on what was gong on on these trips it would have been shut down. No plan B required. As unusual in a marriage, communications issues or putting another way, being selfish.
