Nora's Big Mistake Ch. 44

Originally, Florauna were said to typically live in large colonies and depicted to be savage by nature and have little intelligence other than pure instinct. If any intruders were detected in their colony, the Florauna would not stop attacking them until they captured at least one of them to offer as a meal to the colony's chief.

All Floraunas had the following powers and abilities;

Chlorokinesis: Users create, shape, move, control, interact and manipulate plants, mainly multicellular organisms, predominantly photosynthetic eukaryotes of the kingdom Plantae, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, roots, fruits and flowers. The user can cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate plants by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead plants. They can use their power for defense and support, cause flowers and other plants to bloom instantaneously, manipulate tree branches to use them as whip-like weapons, control spores and pollen, bring plants back to life and make them sprout seeds/fruits/berries, use plant chemicals to heal people/objects, and/or manipulate their properties for a wide range of effects. Though less commonly activated by passive users, the ability may deal a series of offensive techniques on a target. Using the plants as weapons enables users to grasp and strike continuously with vines and roots, project thorns at a distance, and quickly regenerate the withering weapons at the user's will. They can grow vines to entangle enemies climb around a target's neck, causing choking, or strike with plants. A more subtle technique is to release damaging toxins and pheromones, affecting targets in which conditions should be treated quickly with ailments. Users may also control plants in their altered forms, i.e. concentrated forms, such as cotton clothing/fabric, paper, etc.

Explosive Fruit Pods: The user can create explosive constructs from/of plant-matter with different effects.

Camouflage: The user can visually blend into surroundings by blending in with the coloration and form of their background to avoid optical perception. Some users can affect their attire by means of "static camouflage". Similar to Invisibility, camouflage sometimes involves people turning invisible but with limitations. Some animals can naturally blend into an environment thanks to their skin color. Common effects is the user as well as what they are wearing/carrying is able to stay camouflaged while moving, the user will not cast a shadow as a result of bending light. Often associated with a shimmer or ripple effect when moving that can be spotted by the trained eye. The user is also able to camouflage while staying still by changing the color and texture of there skin and/or clothing. Whether on not the user's clothing changes with them varies from user to user the user will still cast a shadow.

Regeneration: Users possess a regenerative healing factor, meaning that they can rapidly heal and get restored to their optimal and full health/state at an extremely fast rate. Unlike Healing, regeneration/healing factor is a process that happens unconsciously without the need for activation, resulting in a constant state of optimal health. Regeneration is a process that occurs in all biological entities, but a regenerative healing factor is much more efficient, seamless, and powerful. So much so that users can recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs, and limbs, sometimes slowing, or even stopping aging, something natural regeneration can never accomplish (or does so extremely slowly). The rate and amount of healing vary widely (see Levels of Regeneration); some can regrow missing limbs, others must put the limb back in place for rapid regeneration. The user is generally in very good physical shape, as their bodies are constantly reverting to a healthy state, granting them nigh-inexhaustible stamina and vitality. The regeneration process also increases the speed of processes the body uses in the healing such as endorphin production to mitigate pain reducing the amount of time and severity the subject feels discomfort leading to an increased pain threshold. Other processes included are the production of adrenaline and the fight or flight response which are greatly extended by the increased recovery leading to increased physical performance as the subject gains elevated strength and energy while also able to push their bodies harder due to decreased sensation of pain. At higher levels, a user can regenerate not just their cellular tissues, but also their DNA, undoing genetic mutations and breakdown, as well as maintaining one's youth by extending telomeres. This also gives them immunity to diseases and infections, undoing any unwanted symptoms, as well as providing a form of self-sustenance, foregoing the needs for oxygen and food intake. If advanced enough, the ability will cause the body to cease aging as the cells are regenerating and dying in equilibrium, granting immortality.

Elasticity: The user is or can become extremely malleable and elastic, allowing them to stretch, flatten, deform, expand, and contract their whole body, including limbs, torso, neck, etc. They can control how elastic/flexible they or parts of them are, allowing them to change their bodies into various tools or other constructs. They are extremely hard to wound or hurt due to their body reflexively absorbing damage by stretching with attacks, but may still feel pain.

Size Alteration: The user can manipulate the size of anything and everything, from tiny to absolutely gigantic while retaining their physical proportions, some may be able to alter targets density. Usually, strength and durability are proportional to the size assumed, but the target may gain increased abilities when growing or keep their normal ones when shrinking.

Body Alteration: The user can change and modify the bodies of oneself and others generally for enhancing the physical capabilities, alternating appearances and so on, the modifications can grant certain powers and qualities (be it magical, technological, divine, nature, etc) that can reach down to genetic or even subatomic levels. Unlike the real world version of this power, users are able to modify their bodies at will instead of just simple surgical procedures and are not limited to just appearance only, but can grant incredible feats and effects that benefits the users for any possibilities usage to their physicality.

Plant Merging: The user can merge into/with plant-life and move within the object, as well as manipulate any object (being or object) in physical contact with the surface.

Sharp Flytrap: The user either is or can transform into a plant monster, a monstrous form of plant life capable of and related to many plant-based supernatural powers.

Sharp Teeth: The user has abnormally sharp fangs and can deliver a deadly bite with them. In some cases, the fangs may even be retractable.

Sharp Thorn Claws: The user has abnormally sharp fangs and can deliver a deadly bite with them. In some cases, the fangs may even be retractable.

Tentacles: The user has (including in place of certain limbs) or can generate tentacles or tentacle-like appendages (vines, grappling cables, ropes, etc.) from themselves, others or any other surface.

Vine Generation: The user can generate vines and other extended plant based material, whether by drawing them from already existing vines, or by manifesting them anywhere they want.

Prehensile Vines: Users can create, shape and manipulate vines, tendrils, stems or runners of the plant with a growth habit of trailing or climbing stems or runners, the specialized stems, leaves or petioles with a threadlike shape that is used by climbing plants for support, attachment and cellular invasion by parasitic plants, generally by twining around suitable hosts. The user can cause vines to grow, develop thorns, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate vines by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead vines.

Thorn Generation: The user can generate thorns, whether by drawing them from already existing thorns, or by manifesting them anywhere they want.

Gas Immunity: User is immune to the effects of drugs, gas, and other foreign chemicals.

Enhanced Strength: Users possess a level of strength beyond that of the peak members of their species and usually in their Verse. At base level, the users strength is 10 times greater than peak members as they would be able to lift heavy objects such as cars, large boulders, vans, and most other objects that are bigger than them in size. They would also be able to exert great physical force from various parts of their body (prominently through their hands), sending enemies flying through walls or breaking their bones instantly with a single punch. Due to the physical force exerted with users who have enhanced strength, they also possess Enhanced Durability as their body would need to be as durable as to not destroy their body from the force of impact.

Enhanced Digging: The user is capable of tunneling through solid matter, including fully solid ones and looser collections such as sand or snow. Depending of the matter, they may choose to leave a tunnel after them.

Enhanced Durability: Users physical durability, the ability to withstand damage, is extremely high, allowing them to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects. The user can withstand bullets, grenades and low to medium explosives (equivalent to ten tons of TNT), survive falling from the top of tall buildings and building collapse, withstand beatings from superhumans and take getting beaten with steel rods and bars.

Enhanced Agility: Users are glaringly, obviously and super/unnaturally more agile than other beings in their universe because their capabilities are pushed beyond the natural level; making them immensely more agile and able to combine their balance, bodily coordination, speed, reflexes, strength, and endurance better than regular beings (in that verse).

Enhanced Flexibility: Users are able to bend and twist their body beyond the normal limits of physiology, although still only from the joints. Their hypermobile joints, muscles, tendons and physiology in general allow the user perform near-boneless looking contortions without stress or damage and comfortably stay in any position they choose as long they need without effort or strain.

Enhanced Jumping: The user can jump farther than average members of their species. They can leap farther than even the greatest human athlete. Impressive feats include being able to jump over large fences, clear big holes in the ground, jump from building top to building top, and etc.

Corruptura Resistance: User is immune to any and all forms of control and subordination manipulation.

Two male Floraunas stepped forward and began to talk to each other. One of them approached Chen and ran his tentacle up and down her body. The rookie cop moaned softly. The male Florauna laughed.

"These two will be a great gift for our chief," he said. "They have some terrific potential."

"Potential," the other male Florauna said. "Look at her. She's much two scrawny. This is why we don't have human beings on our planet as workers. They're too wimpy."

Hart growled in anger. "What did you just say?" Hart asked. "Do you know who I am?" The two alien creatures turned to face the training officer. "Officer Lexi Hart, CCPD Law and Enforcement Division. Now, here's an idea, you two bozos let us go, and you two go back to your own planet."

One of the male Floraunas then wrapped a tentacle around Hart's throat and began to strangle her to death. "I don't think you quite understand what we are capable of doing to you, human," he said.

"Please don't hurt her," Chen said, practically begging for mercy. "We'll do anything you want, just let her go."

The other male Florauna nodded and released his grip on Hart's throat, allowing the training officer to breath and cough.

Elsewhere in the camping area....

Erin, Andy, Kim and Hailey had just arrived and prepared to help their fellow CCPD members.

Erin and Andy tried to contact Chen and Hart, but they're not responding. Kim and Hailey then proceeded to contact the SuperTeens via the com-link.

"Detective Upton," Nora said. "What's going on?"

"There was another attack in Central City," Hailey said. "We sent Hart and Chen to inform you, but we lost contact with them."

Nora nodded. "I'll find them," she said. Hailey nodded and hung up the com-link. Suddenly, a group of Florauna tentacles appeared and attempted to ensnare the four CCPD members and drag them into the jungle. The four women were aware of the threat and without any hesitation, fired gunshots into the tentacles, killing them.

Erin walked over to the dead tentacles. "I've never seen this kind of vine before," she said. "It's not a plant that I have seen before."

Kim nodded. "Maybe if we follow the trail," she said. "We should be able to find Lucy and Lexi."

Hailey nodded and contacted District 21. "Dispatch, this is 5021 Eddie," she said via her radio communicator. "We're here with 5021 Lincoln on the scene of the last known location of Squad 7-Adam-19. We're going to move in. Requesting backup and airship for recovery."

"Copy that 5021 Eddie," Dispatch responded. "Proceed with caution."

Hailey nodded and ended her call. She drew her Glock pistol and loaded it with more rounds. "Let's move," she said. The four women; two officers and two detectives then headed towards the direction of the tentacles; deeper and deeper into the jungle.

Back in the jungle area....

The two male Floraunas were running their tentacles up and down Chen's and Hart's bodies. The two officers were both afraid to say anything at all. What were these creatures? What were they going to do to them?

Chen then felt a tentacle rub itself against her face. It felt so soft and warm, but it also had some tough parts. She moaned softly as she felt another tentacle rub itself against her inner thighs.

The tentacle in front of her mouth took the opportunity and shoved itself into her mouth. Hart gasped in surprise. "Get your disgusting tentacles off her," Hart said.

Another tentacle then surged forward and entered Hart's mouth, shutting up the rude CCPD officer.

Back at the camping area....

In the middle of the camping area, Alex and Caitlin had set up on what seemed to be an obstacle course for Nora to test her fighting capabilities using the DNA Scanner. The two women completed the final touches and Nora transformed into DiamondSkull. Alex told DiamondSkull to think before she acted and to use some strategy. DiamondSkull was unconcerned and believed that brute force was better and more fun. Alex started up the course and DiamondSkull started with some target practice with various cans and targets that could pop out. Meanwhile, Naomi was by the truck, sunbathing and applying sunscreen. She called DiamondSkull a big showoff. Caitlin told DiamondSkull to focus carefully. DiamondSkull felt overconfident, which led her to one of the traps set up by Alex. A tire swing swung down, struck her and threw her off balance and caused her to fire diamond shards everywhere. Alex, Caitlin, Naomi, and the others were nearly hit, but managed to dodge them. Unfortunately for Naomi, a diamond shard hit her sunscreen bottle, causing it to pour on her head. DiamondSkull apologized while laughing.

"Sorry Naomi," DiamondSkull said, laughing. "I didn't see you there."

Naomi stood up and rolled up her left hand sleeve, revealing her own DNA Scanner. She activated it, and transformed into DiamondSkull's counterpart; a Pterosapien named CrystalHead.

CrystalHead then struck DiamondSkull with a crystal blast, knocking the Petrosapien backwards. DiamondSkull grunted in anger. "I said I was sorry," DiamondSkull said. "What more do you want from me?"

DiamondSkull then dodged another attack from CrystalHead. "How about explaining why you ran off?" CrystalHead said. Her arms transformed into two razor sharp diamond blades and she began to fight against DiamondSkull. DiamondSkull was battling back. "I thought you had everything you wanted. You and I were happy together. We were there for each other. Now you want to throw that all away."

DiamondSkull realized that her anger towards Stryker had caused a strain in the relationship between her and Naomi. She transformed her arms into hands and grabbed CrystalHead's two blades. "I'm sorry that I did that," she said. "I love you so much. I didn't want to see you being used by Stryker."

The two Pterosapiens then turned back into Nora and Naomi. The two girls hugged each other tight. The girls then proceeded to head into the truck to have some 'alien' fun.

In the truck....

The two girls proceeded to have sex with each other as two different alien forms; Nora as FireBall and Naomi as ForeArms's counterpart; a Tetramand named FourArms.

FourArms was lying on the bed, while FireBall was sucking her off. The young Tetramand moaned as she stroked the young Pyronite's head as FireBall was sucking on FourArms's dick. As a Tetramand, the species had two dicks.

After a few minutes of sucking and slurping silently, FourArms came hard, spurting her futa spunk deep inside FireBall's throat. The two girls then reverted back into their human forms.

In the truck, Naomi continued to chide Nora for nearly transforming them into Swiss cheese with her stray shots. Nora continued apologizing, wondering what else they wanted from her. Alex, Caitlin, and Iris eventually answer that Nora should use the DNA Scanner more carefully, strategically, and more seriously, like Naomi. Nora does point out that she's defeated quite a number of villains, so she must be doing something right. Naomi then shrugged and claimed that she'll screw up one of these times and be beaten, and she hoped to see that occur. Nora doesn't believe her, of course. The two girls then started to argue. Then suddenly, the truck sputtered and broke down.

Back at the obstacle course, the three bounty hunters have traced where the DNA Scanner was last activated. They explored the location and Tetrax noticed a can with a diamond shard on it. SixSix flew up and took it with a retractable hook, only to have it ripped off by Tetrax. They both have a short standoff, eventually resulting in SixSix backing down and talking in a foreign alien language.

Tetrax then proceeded to mention that he could detect that two of the ten DNA Scanners were activated. "We need to find the others before they are activated," Tetrax said.

SixSix then flew off. Kraab then followed, using his four legs to burrow through the ground. Tetrax then left the area, triggering one of Alex's traps. In an instant, he fired the targets with his rifle, which also destroyed the whole course as well. He flew off and dropped the can with the shard behind.

Nora, Naomi, and the others find themselves in an abandoned mining town, called Slaterville. According to Naomi's Intellimap program on her notebook; her laptop, it was a town incorporated in the year 1857, after the discovery of silver. It was abandoned after the mine ran out in the 1950s. Back at the truck, Alex finds the cause of the breakdown. One of DiamondSkull's stray diamond shards hit the fuel line, puncturing it. Nora suggested for her help by going alien, but Alex insisted on doing it herself. With nothing to do, Nora decided to check out the town. With that said, she took off. The mothers had Naomi and the other teens follow Nora so she doesn't get into any trouble.

In town, Nora entered an old, abandoned equipment storage building. Naomi called out to her girlfriend. Nora started by hiding in the shadows, and transformed into Ghoulfreak. While Naomi searched, Ghoulfreak passed through her and made her chill. Ghoulfreak was amused by her prank, getting a good laugh as Naomi says Ghoulfreak doesn't scare her. Just then, the ground was pushed up from something burrowing under it. Ghoulfreak sensed something was wrong. Ghoulfreak dragged Naomi out of the way, and Kraab showed up. Ghoulfreak and Kraab confronted each other, and Ghoulfreak insulted Kraab about his appearance. Kraab ignored the comment and told Ghoulfreak to hand over the DNA Scanner.
