I never thought it would turn this dark. That said, I think Ian needs another chapter to heal and learn to live again.

I think that we’re left wondering what’s next. I’d love to see Ian have a happy ending and not leave such a grin end. Killing off all the protagonists was too much

You’ve shown great talent creating a story in this genre. Noir is not my favorite as it looks too much at the dark side of life and what can happen to good people. Since any future chapters would have to follow the genre, it may be best to leave this story as it is. Glad I read it because of your talent, but looking forward to other stories of yours.

Poor ending to good story. There is the hope of a new life with Paula, reall! This is dark and ends in a dark, dreary and dead place.
