The story is progressing slowly and realistically while the characters are being developed. A pleasant change from some author's "slam bam - thank you Mam" approach. I'm looking forward to further chapters.

Yes it is VERY slow in developing. It almost reads like a romance novel. Not quite boring enough to stop reading, but I am really tired of all the detailed descriptions of her attire.
