<p>Previous commenters seem to assume, without a shred of evidence, that the first-person speaker is married to some man. What's wrong with the assumption that the other participant in the lovemaking is her wife, and that this is their wedding bed because it's their wedding night?</p>

<p>Also, the author of the comment "Working Both Sides Selfishly" doesn't seem to grasp that a marital contract is a <i>contract</i>, an agreement between two parties to be understood as they agree to understand it, and enforced against one party only if they disagree.
