Click hereWhen Dick and Marie had got into the car, not seeing the boards in the dark, and Dick started to reverse out of the parking slot, he drove over the screws which penetrated both tyres. Then as he continued to reverse, the front tyres rolled on top of the boards, the weight of the car effectively holding them flat on the ground, and the screws that had been driven through the tyre treads were ripped out, destroying both tyres instantly. The tyres deflated immediately, the damage being too great to be repaired and the car was immobilised.
Chris had correctly guessed that Dick and Marie would try to pull some sort of stunt, to leave him at the pub and go off for a fuck fest somewhere. This would have been arranged during Marie's second phone call to Dick and Chris had been determined to thwart whatever plan they had made.
Back in the pub Marie was still trying to help her boyfriend sit up. Chris bent down to her and said quietly. "I'm going home now, when you've finished fucking around with idiot boy here, you might want to come and pack your bags, then you can fuck off with him for good."
"You obviously want him far more than you want me, so go take him. I should have ditched you the first time you pulled a caper with him. Once a slut always a slut, eh?"
"Oh, by the way, you might let me know where you're going to stay, so my solicitor can get the divorce papers to you. I don't want there to be any delay in getting shot of you, so I can get on with my life without more complications."
Turning to the barman he handed him a card. "That's my name and address on there," he said, "Someone's bound to have called the police and an ambulance, so when they come you can tell them where to find me."
The barman grinned, "Thanks," he said, "I think he got what he deserved, when the police come, I'll tell them that you reacted automatically, in self-defence as he swung at you. You were actually expecting it though, weren't you?"
"Yes, of course I was." replied Chris, "I've met plenty of idiots like him before, they're always predictable. I guess it'll be a while before he's able to whisper sweet nothings in her ear." Then he smiled and went out to his car. Thinking to himself that he must get hold of Dick's home address so he could tell his wife what sort of arsehole her husband was.
In the car park Chris walked round Dick's disabled car. Both front tyres were flat and irreparable. With only one spare wheel the car wasn't going anywhere tonight, what a shame!
Shame about Marie too, he really had loved her, and he'd begun to think that he could trust her completely, just as well he found out before they'd started a family.

papabernon8 months agoI Would have saved myself the trouble, And told her if she goes to see the ex-boyfriend for her to take all her belongings with her, and never come back. I'll be doing the Divorce paperwork on Monday..

Marie apparently wants to reswing without giving hubby a choice; Chris has no intention in re-swinging or re-swingers; and Dick wants to become a swinging Dick but fails miserably both with the re-swinger Marie and while swinging at the martial arts expert husband.
Sorry. I know you were asking a reasonable question but my mind's eye could only see the swinging Dick.

This Chris is definitely more manly and mature--not necessarily secure, and for good reason--than the one in "The Last Date". Readers' comments on inconsistency in characters and plot appear to be correct, but I'd argue that the author is within the bounds of believability.

There's no question that the first story is poorly constructed, and I think that's where most of the inconsistencies lie. The Chris character WAS angry while she was on her date to the point of forgetting that he had told her that hotwifing excited him. When she returned home she smothered him in sensuality--or sluttiness--and overwhelmed his anger. We are not told about the aftermath when his anger would have returned apparently powerfully enough to convince even Marie to keep them monogamous for 5 years. The risk she took in story 2 was hoping that she still possessed the tools that could overcome Chris' much stronger need for monogamy.

I don't find this unbelievable. Many couples explore sexual play in the early years but then find that the best satisfaction comes from being committed to monogamy. In year 2, they play with others; but in years 2B-7, they play alone. Apparently Marie found those 'bonds of velvet' more restrictive than Chris did.
Creeperclawalmost 2 years ago@Whackadoodle I'm sure that not all parking lots have foolproof CCTV, pretty sure Chris scouted out such things when he was setting up the failsafe for his wife and her bf. As for prison, I guess that depends. If Dickhead decides to press charges against Chris then the story of the events of the evening and what led up to it will also be involved, which means that his wife will find out what he was up to. Who knows, maybe they have an open marriage or maybe she'll rape him in divorce court seeing as he's a philanderer and they have a child? Whether Chris did anything to Dickhead or not, his marriage to Marie was toast when she decided to plot with the arsehole against him to fuck behind his back. The respect is clearly gone from their relationship, luckily the trust was gone too otherwise she'd have gotten away with it. So if Chris is gonna lose out in a divorce anyway might as well hurt Dickhead as much as possible too.
From what I can tell, Chris MIGHT get some jail time but more likely probation and repair fees(if he gets charged) and half of his finances coughed up in the divorce. Dickhead has a permeant alteration to his voice, a destroyed ego and a marriage in jeopardy as well as limited time with his kid. If anything it seems like Marie came out far ahead of everyone, sure she'll be down one husband but she seems to have stopped valuing him a long time ago and she'll now have all the freedom to be a tart. She did love the attention.
