A moving story that needed to be that long in order to describe all the unusual aspects of this relationship. You can't rush through simple actions and movements when a severely disabled person is involved. I loved the mixture of the physical difficulties and the humorous touches. Very emotional, very touching work. Even thought it was Nora's right to choose what they were doing and how far they would go, I felt concerned about the possibility of them being discovered and Ethan being accused of taking advantage of her. She would be able to state her desire and permission, of course, but would Vicky, the classmates, and Nora's mom have given her a chance before battering Ethan to a pulp, calling the police, etc. I was touched by the way it came out and was glad that Nora experienced a bit of freedom and that, hopefully, Ethan helped expand her possibilities for the future. Great storytelling, 5*.

Wonderful story! To those who think it is too much to expect a relationship with someone who requires 24 hour care and assistance with the most basic functions of life, remember when you brought home your first-born. Diapers, flailing limbs and middle of the night feedings. No language at all, not even an ability to understand what you are saying. But is there communication and a loving relationship? Absolutely!

We are told that Ethan lacks focus, and that his attention tends to wander in lectures. Perhaps Ethan has his own challenges, associated with Attention Deficit Disorder. Individuals with this issue can have trouble maintaining attention when they aren't engaged with something (boring class lectures for example). Against this, they can often hyper-focus on something that really interests them - Nora in this case.

The writing. Exquisite. Patient attention to granular detail giving way to the bird's-eye view of the big picture it inhabits, all made to seem effortless. If is could, I would suggest that the title does not do the piece justice. Without giving it nearly enough thought, I'd offer up "Ethan and Eleanor." Thank you for this story. I'll be flashing back on it for a long time to come.

I like how you took a difficult subject and made it so passionate without being sleazy about it. It had the right amount of passion, interspersed with a realistic look at sex between the able-bodied and the differently-abled. We all have needs and being able to satisfy those needs are important.

This was well written, and I enjoyed it, but did not expect ten pages to cover one evening. I understand stopping the story where you did, but there is a part of me that wants to know what happened to these two over the summer, before Nora went of to college. Thanks for your effort KS

I have read hundreds of stories here and non of them have captured my imagination like this story. I couldn't stop reading it, I was mesmerized. I don't know how to express how engrossed I became with the characters, it was like I was there with them.

In a class of its own. Superbly written. Great character building. All in all a riveting read. I've come back to it numerous times, and it just gets better and better.

The ending with the knowing mom and the shoes killed me. Great story. I could very much see this happening. Sweet.

This story did what the best stories do: they make the reader care. They bring the reader to understand and feel something from out of their usual perspective. This story made me care about Nora and Ethan. As a guy who fell in love with a wheelchair bound woman, I could identify with all the details, difficulties, and feelings. What a talented writer!

What a wonderful story. The ending was tooo perfect!

Rarely have i seen anyone write so aptly about what's ACTUALLY at play for people with disabilities. If ur not disabled urself or close kin, you must have an extremely developed sense of empathy. Everyone else just fantasizing away about their personal fetishes where you really nail the life in prison and under censorship many disabilities represent. That made it entirely realistic and actually added to the sexiness. R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

This story is simply lovely. I love the way they find a way to be normal horny young people, completely embracing disability, without a hint of shame and with tons of natural curiosity and experimentation. And they were allowed to be just like anyone else at that age - hot to get it on!

Stumbled across this on a whim and was amazed, if everyone read this story the world would be a better place. Stellar writing and character building, it left me with a swirl of emotions and a sense that it has somehow made me a slightly better person. Masterful.

The universe has crafted Nora - a harsh practical reality, but hardly any Ethan - a failure of humanity.

Made me really feel for both Ethan & Nora, and I don't really feel things easily. Totally loved it!

I would suggest re-doing, maybe with different characters a very big series or infact a novel ! And please if you do so let us know in the comments I'm sure some of us would love to read it.

EXTRAORDINARY INSIGHT AND COURAGE

Sensational story telling. This level of CP disability is about as far from my interest as you could get, yet you held my attention simply because your story was so REAL rather than an idealised "fetish" view of Nora's condition. Clearly you were wanting us to see real people with real people's struggles rather than an endless account of idealized sex acts. BRAVO!

This is a fantastic story. Deserves a much, much wider audience. I like the way it normalises disability without diminishing the humanity of Nora.

I thought this story was great, you told a really compelling story without diminishing the protagonist's humanity. You really made Nora's experience very easy to empathise with and for that I applaud you.

I'd like another two parts to the story.

Part two. At Nora's mom's house. I'd like to hear her mum deal with Nora's new maturity and vocabulary. Also I'd like for Ethan to visit for an evening and help with her tubes so that Nora can enjoy some alcohol (responsibly) although that might conflict with her powerful medications.

Part three Ethan comes to visit Nora at university. They enjoy time together.

Book 2

If you want to take it dark, widen the universe of characters maybe Vicky has a terrible accident and has a couple of amputations, she needs a lot of assistance with Nora domming Vicky with a bit of revenge and humiliation for Vicky. Nora explores her bisexuality with Vicky's carer and Ethan is her accomplice. Nora ends up owning a special care home. Exploring your themes of disability and sexual slavery. V

This story made me realise that such disable persons might be just normal but encasted in a disabled body. And i loved that respectful and yes, sexy story.

However I question the fact this girl might have such reach vocabulary if she was disabled from birth and only accessed the speaking interface 3 years ago. This is a story and not a reportage, but the author seems very well informed and should be concerned. Also this story help me take the place of such disabled person and all the pain they suffer from their body but also all the person around.
