Click hereThey all got comfortable with their routines, Mike to school, Linda to work, and Carol cared for the house.
Mike would usually spend two nights each week with Linda, and two with Carol. One or two nights each week, they would try new ideas together from Mike's magazines, plus a few more that Carol bought.
Their bond was solidified even more when Mike graduated and took a position in the same town. They lived like this for the next ten years until Carol passed away.
Linda and Mike moved into the master bedroom together. He was 33, Linda was 47. For the most part, they lived as husband and wife. When they traveled, it was Mr. and Mrs., even though they weren't actually married.
The rest of the family thought they just lived in the same house, but not together. Mike and Linda were fine leaving it like that. They maintained their 'Safe Place' over the years - They were happy.
