Good chapter - Not much plot progression but I liked the angle that maybe Belle keeps self destructing relationships because they aren't David... 5*

Yeah, you're kind of whipping the proverbial dead horse with the "Belle only thinks of me as a friend" thing. Like some others have said, you could have moved the story forward more than this. The only real advancement was Admiral Nelson offered Robert a job and said that he would try to find something for Belle too. One short sentence sums up the entire chapter. 4/5

So far, I haven’t seen any positive qualities in Belle that would make this guy love her so much. Her character just isn’t that developed, yet.
