You do have a gift for telling a tale. Very sincere and romantic. All very believable. You should remember this when you start fumbling around trying to extend a good story. Quit while you're ahead.
I think you’re a romantic at heart and like the way you express yourself and how it lives inside each character. Great story Great writing and Good work👍😍
Have the read the “for and against” comments re this story needing a little more, I’d say it does, but it needs Harry & Penny to realise they’re going to be Brother and Sister and won’t need to be alone again, plus the friend who got them together needs the opportunity to “buy a hat”, maybe an epilogue, but then again, it’s not my story….
Many thanks for writing and posting, cheers Ppfzz
Nice story, doesn’t need more.
A nice sweet romance. To my mind the story is finished. It tells their childhood story, how they met again and how he overcame his feelings as a result of his wife dying to allow him to love again. More is not necessary. What happens after he allows himself to love again is another story.
It's a really nice story that just cuts off like a format error or something. There was a lot more to explore to reach the end. Would love to see a conclusion
A well written romance, the only thing wrong with the story was the ending as I always like a happily ever after that I don't as a reader have to finish in my own imagination. It has been 4 years since the author finished this story, maybe he will revisit it and give all of his readers what it seems they want, a wedding maybe a brother or sister for Harry and Penny and finally the rest of the story of them growing old together. 5 ++ stars
What more could they ask for? They fit together like and hand and glove, the kids are interpretable and there aren't any strings left hanging in the way. Great story with a short ending that I assume lead to wedding bells and a happily ever after life together.
Really enjoyed reading this story, thanks.
nice story, nice characters, cute children, tasteful, discreet sex... next chapter please!!!
I've read this three or four times and it just keeps getting better. Thank You!
Talk about a hot romance story.
I agree with rightbank and TheOldRomantic.
As soon as I read it, I pushed 5 stars.
The great storyline has been gushed over.
But it was carried forward by masterful language skills.
Judging from my first of his stories,
Member389 is a first-class storyteller.
Thanks so much,

Love the characters, story line, dialogue, basically all of it. Well done. Left me feeling warm, gushy, and horny. Can’t beat that combination.
Great story by a wonder author.
Having read this a few times (I've lost count), it is a delightful and touching story.
Thank you, sincerely!
Interesting and fun story about two early childhood friends who reconnect through their children's connection/friendship in school.
The element of fate is prominent and it fact these two hangnails on the fickle finger of fate use their new found love to recover from ended previous marriages.
(For some reason ,I kept getting the feeling that this story was taking place during the 1950s.)
I rated this story a 5.
Nice story. Some of us believe in fate. Would be interested in the older sister's reaction to discovering their common path. His sister had given him sage advice about overcoming his loss. Happiness for all. Nice and satisfying for the heart. Thank you.
Reminds me of someone from childhood. Perhaps we are destined to cross paths again too?
Having read several of your stories you never seam to fail at delivering a truly great story...even without the sex this is a wonderful tall of fate reunion and starting life over again...Pls do a follow up to this so we can see how far fate will go...
Must be déja vu. I swear I read this several years ago. ***** anyway.
Really nice story, and I loved the touch of Harry cannonballing into his leg. I've great-nephew who used to cannonball int me whenever he saw me - it wasn't so bad once I learned to make sure it was my leg he cannonballed into, but his head was at just the right height to do damage if he hit me head on.
I fully agree with the comment of Rightbank.
A very sweet story and an incredible reunion of two adults who met in their childhood. What was the probability, about 30 years after?
5 * for you.
I apologize for my English (yet and forever), isn't my native language.
Having the kids be best friends was a fun way to get the adults together.
You wrote well, but the suspense was gone almost
Immediately and the dialogue is boring.
I Know Some Would Say To Stop Here. But This Has So Much More To Give. I Would Read A Few More Chapters. If Not That Ok. Great Story. 5 Stars All The Way!!!!
Great lines, not too much syrup; simple plot. Had I not already married my 2nd wife before I re-met my childhood sweetheart I just know we would have clicked!
5*

A real good story, loved the plot.
Characters are nice and easy.
Simply a good love story.
A great story and the teaser ending fits just right. Normally I like a more complete story, but this one feels just perfect as is.
