So I'm a little confused. The story thus far has pretty heavily implied that Gavin just moved back to town(that's even what Matt's mom says in the second chapter), yet now it seems as if he has been there for quite some time. Long enough to make friends, have a one night stand with one of those friends, and come to regret said one night stand. So why didn't he find his pup before now? I assume there is an explanation coming involving why he moved in the first place.

Still very much enjoying the story, but plot-wise a few things do need to be cleared up.
