this read from an earlier time. I did enjoy the series, although I'm unsure how long it went. I remember this first chapter.
I liked it as much as before, and the sex is very detailed, sensual and primal. There's no way these two would not "connect" on some level after two very intimate couplings in a short time. I guess what's stopping me this time is (what a contradiction) the timing of it all. It would have seemed more logical for them to get over the initial shock of the discovery, and to de-escalate the meeting in some way where they talk each other down; perhaps he quickly becomes embarrassed and throws on some decent clothing; perhaps they move to the kitchen and he asks to hear the story on how she got in there; they talk about why she would have gotten into the apartment as such a drastic move; she presents what she thinks she can do to maintain the place to "pay him back"; then maybe they feel that connection and "get busy," which would present a more logical advancement and a stronger reason to bond. That would explain him wanting to protect her from harm, and we as readers would see some kind of reasonable bond to explain the sex.
No doubt this story strikes a reader on a very primal level and obviously she's very sexy....it would just make a little more sense to approach the story from a different angle, so as not to ask the reader to suspend so much disbelief. Undoubtedly though the unexpected circumstances match the title exactly, as on some level, there is some hasty action needed to immediately save her life.
I won't rate this, as I don't remember how this advanced to the next installment, since I'm unsure if you will repost what you had before or modify it in some way; I'll consider rating the next chapter.
Of a story from 2-3 years ago. Except this homeowner seems to be mad at the world
I swear I read this story before. Guy notices things different in his apartment, hair on bar in of soap, comes out of shower to confront woman hiding in closet, etc.
This is a repost of the story correct? I remember and love the OG so I'm very happy that it's back.
