Rahab???

Pixie,

i wondered at the choice of the name rahab at the end of the danegyth story, particularly after googling it and finding only references to harlot, but that is more or less clear now, however, just for clarity, is this current rahab the granddaughter of danegyth or meant to be further removed?

Much further removed, as will become clear. Danegyth would have died in about 1100 and Rahab here was born in 1566.

Thank you for reading. Rahab is the name of a harlot who saves her people in the Bible. It seemed to fit my little heroine.

What a wonderful opening chapter: Rahab entering the Seraglio of the Sultan. The Topkapi Palace feels like heaven to me. I’m really looking forward to seeing where this story is going to take me.
