Rahab's plan to get to Karim's hidden lair was genius, of course, as it seems she and her group managed to fool him completely. Hopefully, they will be able to deliver the Ark successfully...and Rahab will get the healing she needs.
Many thanks - there will be a slight delay in the next chapter, but a new series starts tomorrow.
Rahab is a brilliant strategic mind. I'm glad Tania has been welcomed so, but I fear for Rahab. A great chapter, thank you Pixie

Since this is the first story I have read in this series I just wanted to see what this story was about I really like mid evil stories, but I can't get into this series
Well, of course, it isn't medieval, which may be among the reasons you aren't into it. It's always hard to begin towards the end.
In Karim you've created a perfect portrait of a certain kind of religious fanatic, blinkered by his own sense of self-righteousness and male superiority. I did feel that perhaps he fell for Rahab's 'conversion' a little too easily but on the other hand this helped to emphasise his arrogance in his beliefs. Another first-rate chapter, Pixie.
How lovely to see how easily a bigot can be exploited by the very things he professes to despise. x
