I ended up here from your request for comments on the Author's Forum. Not sure what I'd find...I can say that you captured my interest and held me through the entire story. I especially liked the play on Indian culture, which I thought was very well done. The idea to comply with her wishes as an effort to help the couple's relationship came off believable, and unique. Nice ending with things coming back to normal in their marriage. You need not worry about if you should keep writing...go for it!
