Oh my, what a wonderful story. so very well written as is your usual style. Your heart wrenching tales always make my eyes leak but I would never not read your stories of love. Top marks once again.
I Don't usually give 5*'s but in the case i will thank you
Wow, just wow! Great story in so many ways. I loved it when Steph would call him Daddy and then Brother but knew it was for real when she called him Mark. Sad to say that the mother was painted as a total POS, but I guess there are those kind of people out there living among us. It was kind of a shock, but nice that we got some closure with her showing up demanding her due.
The Epilogue was almost a story in itself. Glad it worked out so well for them and their children but the ending had this old man reaching for a hanky. Five stars
Beautifully written. That epilogue gutted me. I hope you write many many more. Your style flows nicely.
Beautiful story, a beginning, a middle and an end, truly wonderful. Thank you .
Nice. As I read it and knew where it was going, I was worried about 'grooming' but there was none of that. It was a nice sweet story. It stopped at the right place; with the lovely epilogue from a different perspective. A good story well told.
I always enjoy your stories that I read and this was no exception, it was easy to see where it was going. The ending was so sad.
Beautiful story. Could have lived without the sad ending, but loved the romance and your description of their emotions and affection. Very well written, thanks! 5/5, of course.
OMG such a beautiful story. Wonderfully written. Thank you for writing this and sharing it with me.
It's hard to sexualize a character when you spend the entirety of the first act describing them as a literal child
I absolutely love when an epilogue takes it to either one or both of the passing cause it helps bring across the love they share and it also usually pulls at my heartstrings, the Mousie series did it and i've loved it since. Thank you for taking their journey that far for us
Wow!! Very well-written and a great love story The epilogue about brought tears to my eyes Very touching! Thank you for sharing it
One of the best stories I've ever read. The emotions they had for each others were more than real. The ending could not have been better.
Absolutely loved this awesome romantic story all the way to the bitter end ❤️💕♥️🥰🥰
Top-tier. From concept to characters to the writing, all beautifully told. 5/5* Fav
Very emotional story, I don’t care that its incest love is hard. The heart wants what the heart wants. Even through death we love the ones we lost, but it’s not the end. It lives on through our kids, family, even friends. It’s never ending. I grew up not feeling loved, I was put in group homes and hospitals. Until I met my wife she was 15 and I was 25, but that didn’t stop us.
Lovely - two broken people screwed over by a heartless mother that did the best they could and found a moment of peace and love in the world.
Really good read. Hated the end too even though that is life. Made me tear up a bit!
Mark showed such restraint. Of course he showed even more love. Thank you author.
Excellent. If all, or at least more couples had and maintained such a love for their partner, this world would be a much better place.
Nice, quick paced read. Quite the antithesis of some "slow build" stories. A lifetime of memories in under 4 pages. Maybe a few extra pages of drama would have been nice, but it was still a great read.
Really sweet. A truly nice guy and a girl that fell in love with him because of it. I've read a fair few epilogues like the one you wrote but the buildup in just 4 pages meant it hit me in the feels like a truck.
An amazing and emotional story. I didn’t like the tears I had at the end. Well done.
I had tears at the end but I loved it. Could’ve used maybe another page before the epilogue but 10/5 nonetheless. I love the stories that have buildup instead of straight to sex like most are. Great read
This American Yank has always liked your stories and writing style. Thank you for another excellent saga.
That was a beautiful journey. Christ that epilogue broke me. I wasn't expecting it as I rarely see stories play out to the end like that. But it was wonderful nonetheless. A good cry is so cathartic. Thank you for that :)
we can love someone as long as we live . it may not be till the end of their life, but it will be till the end of ours . you can't do anymore than that . live, love, enjoy life !!
Great story. Very emotional. I can only hope and pray that one day I can find a love that intense. I actually teared up at the end.
Only giving it a 4 because the epilogue kind of ruined it for me. I loved the "happily ever after" kind of ending to it but could have done without the death part of it. Still an amazing story though.
Simply fabulous! Loved the story and he end. People live and people die. It's what is in between that counts. It was gratifying to me to see their love was forever. Mom was put in her place and al is right in their world.
I'm not crying, you're crying!
Did not expect that ending to hit me so hard.
Thnak you
My biggest complaint is that Mark's reluctance to accept the love Stephanie was trying to share with him was overdone and too drawn out. You didn't have to take it so far out there. A small amount of reluctance and keeping her at arm’s length goes a long way. I truly understood that he was still trying to be the good man and protective brother, but I found it tedious because of how you presented it. 😕
Overall though, I still enjoyed the story. 5/5
we all hope that someone loves us enough to be with us,put up with our crap, and just be there . like the song says if i can't love you till the end of your life i WILL love you till the end of mine .
I'm also in the opinion that the story time between Mark going down on her, and they made love for the first time was useless ... or better said meaninless. It felt a sort of artificial way of lenghtening the story. Apart from that, I enjoyed it very much.
I can honestly say, this is the first time a story on this site made me ugly cry! ffs
You're an incredible story teller, you really are! Big kudos.
This was such a beautiful story and the emotions were all over the place. I've always loved you work and have no idea how this is the first time I've read this.
Absolutely loved it!
Glad I had the Kleenex near me. Loved this story. This was the second time I read it.
One of the few stories that makes me cry, not just at the epilogue, but in between as well...
