Ironically despite telling you guys how to don't really go back and relisten to my recordings listening for flaws, I did so here, and it made me cringe that I didn't know what I was doing at the time. 🤦♀️
Apologies for the brushing of the mic about 4 minutes in! I was hyperfocused on discussing Bo Burnham's "Inside", and didn't realize I was rubbing my thumb over the mic absentmindedly because I liked the feel of if the texture on the pad of my thumb. 🤦♀️ Apparently now that I am starting to unlock my own neurodivergency, I'm both more absent-minded and hyper focused on my smaller "quirks" -- one of which is my need to have tactile sensation to allow me to focus on something. Usually, it's my necklace I rub my fingers on when I'm trying to focus, but I wasn't wearing it this night, so without thinking... I just kept rubbing my thumb over the mic/speaker over and over. When I realized it, then Macaroni decided to attack the door to my room🤦♀️
