All Comments on 'Rehearsal Kiss'

Amazing how a dick usually finds its way up a skirt, huh? I appreciated the contrivances of this story because from "Hey, kids, let's put on a show!" to "Ooops! My clothes fell off!" much of live theatre is contrived. Unlike movie making, the stage's immediacy lends a naked intimacy that once performed can't be discarded, fixed or improved through retakes or dubbing. Amusing as your noir reference was (nothing like the exaggerated lighting and menacing shadows of backstage), I believe the story benefited from its swipes at anxiety. Doesn't the secretive nature of "illicit" behind-the-curtain behavior heighten the already unnerving experience of live performance?
