Enjoyed it

Nice touch bringing in a Remembrance Day theme spiced up with a little naughtiness all wrapped as a piece of Canadiana, eh.

Merci bien...

A supplemental Author's note

It's been pointed out to me that the ages in this story don't entirely conform to history which, while true, is really just a result of an oversight on my part. I'd meant to include in my original Author's note that in order for this to make sense time wise, the story was set in 2005 or thereabouts.

I'm forgetful, not bad at math, honest :)

Beautiful

This was very well written. You had a nice build up before getting to the sex, which is a nice change of pace from a lot of the stories on this web site. For me, I get slightly distracted when things like ages are put in numerical form but it's no big deal. That's my "problem", not yours. :) I gave you a very well diserved "5" on this submission!

Mmh... très bien!

Sweet and raunchy at the same time! Nice story, although a quick search couldn't bring up the village you mentioned (Reimerswaal is in The Netherlands, and anything else I couldn't find).

Great reading

Great reading not the least influenced by the fact that I am an older guy!

Have to thank them all

Whenever I see a veteran I take my children up and we all say thank you to them for their service. It is amazing to see the smiles we get back for this little bit of effort. Thanks for a great story.

Je suis prêt

Talk about community service--Danielle definitely went above and beyond what was expected of her. And Remembrance Day won't ever be the same for Jack.

Thanks for a memorable little story about an old veteran and a young teenage girl, even if it is a fantasy.

kudos author:

to you and all those no longer hear to sing

Underneath the lantern

By the barrack gate

Darling I remember

The way you used to wait

T'was there that you whispered tenderly

That you loved me

You'd always be

My Lili of the lamplight

My own Lili Marleen

Wonderful

Just a wonderful story about giving a great gift to an aging veteran. Thank you for it. We have lost almost all those D-Day veterans that have given so much for us and Europe those many years ago. God bless them.
