That was such a good read - melancholy yet erotic at the same time; bitter-sweet. Brilliantly written and paced out, I had a smile on my face the entire time. Great work!
WOW, what a great story, maybe your best yet. This really stirred up memories of my own years in high school and all of the missed opportunities because of my fears. Gave you ***** for this bittersweet story, but it deserves many more than that. MLF
Such a sweet ending. Loved it. Loved the structure and tone as well. The sexual tension built nicely. Weaving the story into Romeo and Juliet was very effective. Incidentally, the connection I make between Chaucer and Proust is that they are both insufferable.
Hopefully this is the beginning of their story. Really enjoyed it and hoping to see their next encounter on their journey.
Wonderful! I read this last night and came back this morning to say this is an affective story with excellent character development. Jackson goes just far enough to change the story for Ben but not so far as to be an asshole who betrays his wife and young son. Great tension building *****

Beautifully told and a reminder of my regrets that still allowed me to be who I am now having conquered my fears
This was so beautiful. I bet there's a lot of gay guys who can soooo relate to this one, who would give anything to have this moment with their own Jackson.
Your stories fill a bittersweet niche of mine I don’t see too often on this site. Have you ever heard of bare: A Pop Opera? Your use of Romeo & Juliet’s Pilgrim’s Hands reminded me of it.
