Since 750 words didn't leave me much room for an Afterwards, I'll do one briefly here:
The imagery for Helen was inspired by a challenge from @EmilyMiller to. Write 750 words based on an AI image she'd created of a lovely young woman in a park.
The premise I came up with is mine; I personally do not believe in an Afterlife, but if I were to imagine a scenario I'd be happy with, this would be it: eternity with the ones we love and the freedom to enjoy it
Thanks for taking the challenge. Should have been 5⭐️s except for the cavalier approach to tagging - Oh, OK then 😊. Em
You are a writer of many talents. You can be crude and rude, touch on subjects that make others blush, yet you can also be romantic, gentle and kind. Very impressive!
It seemed like such a sweet story. However, There is a God. So it is totally fiction. Enjoy it while you can. The lord appeared to me, here at work, almost 10 years ago. The 10 year anniversary will be in about 4 weeks or so. I guess I should write a story about it. LOL This story was nice, but just fantasy. Good luck with that. NON believers only have one place to go and it isn't to the good place. Good Luck with that. Buster2U.
Dear @Buster2U
Thanks for the Christian love.
Quick question for you: would Jesus approve of your browser history?
I'd bet money he wouldn't.
loved it, as an old bloke i got my fingers crossed for an exit just as sweet as this
This isn't a story. This is something more. This is that subtle feeling which has no name, but that we all know intimately. This is art.

Mucho Romantique und Hopeful!
Plus a million Midichlorians for:
I had to smile. "So we're like, what? Force Ghosts? I just knew George Lucas was a prophet."
Helen rolled her eyes."Still a geek, aren't you?"
11/10 Khyber Crystals!!!!!
Wow buddy, that was great. A true heart string puller.
Beautifully done and in only 750 words. Bravo ;->
I loved this tale. As an 84 year old with a 61 yo wife I hope the few years we will still have together will not be the end.
