redlion75: I've re-read Ron's notes that I based these accounts on. I found that Ron didn't know about the molestations at the time they occurred. His sisters didn't tell him until years later. He knew at the time that his sisters were very uncomfortable with the step-family, but didn't know just how bad things were. I should have made that clear in the accounts.

But the molestations deeply hurt his sisters, really screwing with their self-esteem. They each went through three bad marriages in the next decade. I should prepare a further account that deals with these issues. Thanks for bringing this up.
