I'm glad to see Seb hasn't (yet!) turned into a complete manwhore! There's no reason he shouldn't have sex since he and Rory are apart possibly never to reconcile (although we know thanks to your kindness in earlier chapters that they do get back together eventually). But it's good to see that he still misses Rory and still holds out hope that they'll get back together. And good to see he isn't throwing himself at every available male! I went to uni in London too and I was nowhere near as restrained!

I don't know if you're planning on doing this anyway but it might be good to hear things from Rory's perspective throughout the time they are apart, how he's dealing with the break up and if he (hopefully!) is getting some! Just a thought, you have written from Rory's perspective before and it would be good to hear how he's coping with his issues without Seb.

I love this story but the short chapters kill me. I want to add my two cents but more or less agree here. Seb and Rory are broken up so there's no reason Seb wouldn't be out with other guys. He isn't a monk. Most people don't get back together with their exes. I would like to know about Rory's 1st year at uni too but please don't take so long for the next chapter.

Some insight into Rory's time after break-up would be great.

I like that Seb is secure enough in his masculinity to be versatile, in my experience not many masculine men can do that.

I liked this chapter and I totally agree with what you said in the intro. I also think time away is what both boys need in order to mature. If it's meant to be, they'll get together again. I agree with the others that some insight into Rory during the time away would be great. I disagree that exes don't get back together. It might not happen often, but it does happen, especially when the first time around both people were young.

If a person enjoys drinking or anything the assumption is addiction, lol. I was so glad to see this chapter up when I checked the site, yet another solid chapter. This nosy hippie does have a question. Will there be chapters detailing Rory's growth and perspective during this time?

Yay! It seems like it has been forever since we visited with Rory and Sebastian. I have to agree with the others. I want to know what is up from Rory's side. It is so wrong to see them apart but I still say it will be good for them. Sometimes growing up hurts. I really enjoy this story and I often go back and read other chapters again. These two boys are really cool. I just hope sweet Rory is going ok. I know he will be fine but I think he needs Sebastian like eggs needs bacon. Anywho. I like what you are doing here and I hope we get more soon.

I really really love this series. Awesome characterization, romance, and pathos. However, because I'm weirdly anal about structure, would it be possible for you to put the college arc in a different set of rory and sebastion stories?

First, I am so enjoying this story with honest and interesting characters experiencing a first love. Am chomping at the bit to keep reading, but I wanted to put in a comment on drinking as it was mentioned in your notes at beginning of this chapter.

I have some awareness of the differences between American vs English drinking habits. I have worked in London and Scotland. There are regions in USA where drinking is more accepted, My personal perspective on drinking comes from southern Louisiana, home of the Cajuns and a true French influence. In the rural Cajun culture on weekends families go together to the parents local drinking establishment. Kids run around outside, adults enjoy atmosphere with extended family and friends inside and out. In the French La culture a child may be given a dram of bourbon for a cold or cough. For adults at home, wine or beer in afternoon or at meals is common. Alcohol is served at ladies card games and almost all social events. Parents know it is likely there will be teenage drinking at football games or parties however drugs are not accepted. So, there is a bit of perspective. I LOVE south Louisiana.
