Not quite sure how I came to be reading this, as it is not a category I normally follow. Probably it was "Aussie rock singer" that piqued my interest. Glad I did. I found it really enjoyable. Seemed to also tell it like it is, or at least how a 60 year old guy thinks it might be.

As an aside, I was chuffed that, on seeing Sandy refer to the famous singer who created a persona around certain outfits, I immediately thought that it just had to be Chrissy Amphlett. The Divinyls were also one of my favourite Aussie bands.

Love your work

There is so much that I could say about your stories. This story is so much like your others; but also so original. This too, is like your other stories. Always so original.

I like all of those that I've read. Whether they're Cop stories or others, there is a quality of kindness and compassion, not just sweetness. Or even, not sweet at all. But I know that I am going to read something that I will enjoy when I sit down with one of yours.

I really appreciate your Cop stories. Real people with real lives - many people don't understand them and write about them poorly. You understand them.

Sandy's Girl seems pretty complete but also something that you could continue for at least another chapter, probably more. In some ways, I don't know where you could go with it, but that only leaves me with great expectations.

gnome_man's got it...

...when he says that starting one of your stories is knowing you'll enjoy it. There's no need to restate my case, Shaima---as always your story is a pleasure to read. One thing, I reckon your combined characters could hold an Aussie Pride parade all by themselves.
