Why is stupidity always the go-to plot device? They are begin tracked by two foes who are highly dangerous, and their plan is to wait in a place they know they can be found, without any plan on how to handle them when they arrive. Brilliant! If a 5-year old was told it was a hide and seek game, at least they would have tried to set up an escape plan. Not these two. Apparently he learned nothing from all of the computer games he played. Making your main characters dumber than door knobs does not endear them to your readers. You should make your story a battle of wits, rather than a dumb-ass stumbling along.

This series is a fast paced, gripping read. Each chapter feels too short, but I not convinced making them longer would help with that. Please keep up the great work. Can't wait for the next instalment. Also, don't be discouraged by the cowardly Anonymous. Seems to me the lapse in judgement was explainable by the effects of the claiming.
