More than a year in the making! I can’t describe the feeling of relief now that I have seen it actually published to the web! Thanks for reading this and I hope that you have enjoyed it!
A good tale. I guess I’ll have to wait to see if life (and death) are really like that.
Good story! A big thumbs up for Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. I use the No Salt version.

Worth all the time it took. Every word carefully weighed before being knitted into something to grab the mind and heart. And maybe something a lil more south.
What a beautiful story! If I could give it ten stars, I would push for an eleven
I loved reading this story! Thank you so much for writing, and thank you also for sharing your work.
I live in Sugar Land and specially enjoyed the Texas and Houston references. Great story.
Thank you Blue90a! 😃 Jump onto the Grand Parkway and drive about 45 minutes to an hour north of where you live if you want to drop in for a visit! If you look closely at my profile photo as posted in October 2022, it is Amtrak's Sunset Ltd departing Houston eastbound from downtown. I wasn't raised here, but I consider Houston my hometown now since I have lived in this area longer than anywhere else.
