You never really know what you have until you have lost it.
Money and material items are nothing compared to a lost love. It could be a child, close sibbling, parent or best friend.
In this story, he's lucky to get a second chance. Not all of us do.
Having just lost my wife just the last week, I can totally agree.
She was only 45 and in reasonably good health. We went to bed one night and the next morning she was dead.
I wish I had enough time with her to tell her I love her one more time. Luckily we never missed a day telling each other that we loved each other.
Hold on to what you have, you'll never know when you'll wake up and it will be gone.
RIP Babydoll.
Your story just brings home to all of us the danger of forgetting who and what is really important. Thank you for your insight and hard work.
Good plot, and too close to home here.
Sorry for your loss, Rob.You´re a good author.
