"Would you do the honors?" she asked as she turned around for Dusty to put the necklace on her.

"As long as you let me have one more honor, Marissa Scott. Would it be okay if I called you Scottie?" Dusty queried.

"I would really, really love that," she said, smiling brightly.

A beautiful story for Romantics.

I hope it is not wasted on people who do know how to relate to such impressionist art; BUT IT IS GREAT ART!

Thanks

It was missing pieces... It didn't really make rational sense but it left me with a bitter-sweet longing on my heart. WELL DONE. 5 big ones

So... what happened to KC? How did Marrissa become Scottie or Scottie become Marrissa or... need a next chapter. Thank you.

I'm sad for KC. She was pretty amazing herself.

"...I rarely do romance and I have never before done anything even remotely approaching sci-fi."

Maybe not, but this was SPECTACULAR!!!!!!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Okay now I have a new favorite but as I was doing some yardwork I was writing the story from Scotties's perspective as I felt she had a story that needs to be told.

She did say she'd try and find him.

Well she didn't. She found him physically, of course. But she's yet to re-awaken her previous memories of him even while she was able to plead to the Great Unknown to release her from the Afterlife and replant her old self into the realm of the living.

She might recover her Scottie Jorgensen persona back... with time. Or not, depending on our author here.

Hooked borrowed some Studio Ghibli-ish narrative. This most certainly feels like a typical bestseller anime OVA. Albeit with a tad lazy, careless scripting.
