I really feel for Peta. Learning something new and completely foreign to you sucks, particularly when you know everyone's watching and waiting for you to screw up. Add in the loss of her husband and her bloody mother, and it's no wonder she's stressed and jumping on the defensive with Richard.

I did literally laugh out loud when Richard said 'That could have gone better'.

I don't know, maybe I have a short attention span, but I don't consider five pages "bite sized"! Two or three pages, maybe a part of a fourth.

Five pages is a moderately long stand-alone story, IMHO.

Just sayin'.

Please don't keep us waiting a long time for chapter 2.
