I loved it! I myself am a big fan of build ups like this. All I ask is that you be quick with the next chapters.. It's gotten to where most chapter writers will wait months to even start the next one. And by then, everyone's already forgotten about it

What's holding me back from liking it is the stepbrother. While he stands up for her, which is admirable, he also comes off as a cocky douche quite a bit too. I like the female protagonist, yet the male doesn't at this point seem to be her equal.

written so far, the dialogue seems pretty natural, I only wish the chapter was a bit longer. I'm waiting for the next one.
