The story was off to a good start but why the change to the wife narrating the story? That didn't really make any sense. It would have been much better if it continued from Jimmy's perspective.

why not -- since you've told it from Jimmy's and the wife's perspectives -- tell it also from RJ's side? Since we can see how Jimmy feels about the competition, and since we can see how much she gets turned on by the comparison, why not tell us RJ's thoughts?
