really nice build up and pay off, good to see he was naturally hesitant with everything new, but willing to go for it when needed. hopefully you make more such stories. length was good, didnt overstay welcome or too quick. prob would like a bit lonegr. also this dynamic, human male with big nonhuman female is done well

Excellent!!! I'd LOVE to see a continuation of the story, perhaps starting with "it's been 2 years since...". Maybe telling how he learned her language, and her his. Struggles faced against the Orcs, his desire to be with humans again. Maybe finding a shipwrecked human girl and how it would play in the story. Perhaps even the possibility of a new half-breed race of dragon and man? Smaller than a full dragon, but just as strong, faster and more cunning?
