Such a story can only make you wonder what the author has experienced. Some elements of this story cannot be fabricated. Although the idea of vampires, living eternally and so on, is a myth, the idea is to make the reader fantasize about how wonderful it would be to live without pain and with only pleasure and with someone you love. It does this quite well. But the closeness shared, the desire of these women to be with each other, that could not be so well expressed without also having been experienced.
