Very interested in how this story continues. Though I can't say I've seen Huston spelled that way, only as Houston, it does appear to be a variant spelling. I do so love expectation subversion; at the reveal, I became the embodiment of the 'you had my curiosity, now you have my attention' meme. Well done

Decided not to read it since your story tags mention lesbian romance and werewolf. This should actually be listed under non-human and anything LGBTQ is total GARBAGE!! Keep it straight! 1* since anything less isn't an option.

Supernatural and werewolves have never interested me, but they do in this wonderfully written story. Flawless writing.

DOES NOT BELONG IN ROMANCE!

I am not hating the story as it very compelling, however this series is not a romance. Oh yes, it is a romance of non-humans and this is proof but it is better placed in another genre. I will definitely move there to read it and any like it

I'm not going to argue about categories, a lot will depend on how the story develops but lm guessing that wolf side will have little to do with it but I may well be wrong. Don't think I've come across lesbian wolves before although many stories have both sees as bi???
