Badly conceived and poorly written. So unbelievable that it's laughable. He has had several opportunities to overpower one of the women. And once he has one, he's free. I guarantee you once he grabs one or two of their fingers and breaks them, he'll be free and they will be spending their lives in jail. Even for fiction this was just awful.
