I don't typically comment on stories, but this has been an amazing series. When Arianna and Terra died I had to put my phone down and compose myself. It's rare that a character death causes me tears. Thank you for an amazing tale. Can't wait to see what other series you come up with.

This is a great series, very well done! Normally I hate the number of chapters to exceed 3-4 for various reasons, most especially those where there is a significant wait in between. Partially I didn’t mind it here due to your simplicity and uniqueness of a title. “Solstice” just stands out in a sea of other titles that are so similarly sounding that it is difficult to determine what one might have read a previous chapter to.

One of the very best, I could not put it down! It is my belief that the main mark of good writing is to involve the readers emotionally, this story had it in spades, I think the ending was a half a box of Kleenex.

By the time I read the last chapter I was expecting a sad type ending but by the time I came to the end of this chapter having read through it in the end i couldn't imagine a more beautiful ending

EXCELLENT, thank you for opening up a genre of literature I have not read in many years, I have avoided sciencefiction because it was normally rushed and extremely amateurish, this is a truly professional piece of literature. Being one of the British readers I did find a few American expressions appearing now and then but this is understandable and did not detract from the reading.

Long may you continue to produce work of this calibre.

Great story! I’ve read quite a few stories on here, and I honestly think this is the best one I’ve read so far. Yeah, I got a large amount of dust in my eye at the death of Ariana and Terra. I could feel Alex’s pain through your words. And when he had to leave Aphrodite at the portal.

This story was all over the place and hard to keep track of all the people and where they came from for moms ,,, I survived to the end,,, it was tough but I still did it,,, the ending was definitely different,, he lost his loves,,, mom was all over the place when he came back ,, she still went with other women instead of healing his heart ,,, definitely a weird ending

I found this story while I was out wandering the library that is Lit. I’m so damn glad I did as well. Although not brave enough to read this in one sitting, I did take a run at a few days. I kept up with who was who and I’m sure glad I did. Mister, you did good and I’m sure glad you got this story to print. My thanks for posting this marathon read, well worth the time to read it and most of all, I’m just so glad Alex got his happy ending.

Characters were well-developed, likable and endearing - even the losses for Alex at the end were captured and eventually brought home in a profoundly dignified manner.

That was a fabulous story. So full, emotional and spectacularly worth the time to read. You should be proud of this, as its really high quality

All in all, a very good story. I did foresee the deaths a couple chapters earlier. That did not take anything away from the ending. You got sidetracked a couple of chapters. That took away from the story and the rapport between family members. Even though you tried to make anything and everything acceptable... Commitment that should have been given to the MC was allotted to someone else. Still 4 stars overall. Thanks for writing and contributing.
