How about just plain weird?

I think I’m pretty good at suspending belief for a while, but eventually I need to feel that I understand what is going on. The longer it went on, the less I understood … and the less I cared. I needed a few things explained, sooner. Sorry.

A Lovecraft reading list to accompany this might be useful. Captured the tone though.
