Adrian was left alone on the floor, weeping and mourning. His head felt like he had been hit by an iron bar several times and his body though okay were aching. He could feel the veins in his head pumping as he was welcomed by a headache that made everything spin.

Adrian lay on the cold tiled floor, wetting it with his tears. He cried like never before in the dining for almost an hour before he decided to get up. He slowly moved and the body pains had subsided but the headache was too much. For a moment he had thought that his head was about to fall off. It hurt whenever he tried to touch the hair, move his head and even blink.

He knew he had to take some pain killers and a hot shower to make at least a little pain go away. He slowly balanced himself between the chairs as he got up, walked out of the dining room like a snail and then went to climb the stairs.

Adrian felt like every step he made on that staircase added to his headache. It was really painful and if that wasn't enough, he had to get up as early as 5 am to prepare breakfast for everyone. He was as good as dead. It took 30 minutes just to reach his room and his head was really aching so badly.

He took some pain killers, stripped painfully and went to massage his head. He entered the shower and let the hot water in. He almost wailed out when the water hit his head. He felt like he had cuts all over his head and the hot water was not helping but he managed to wash and massage his head until the pain was no longer hurting extremely badly.

That was the most painful shower that he had ever had and he cried throughout the shower. He was sure they were really out to kill him. How could they hurt him like that all because he had received blessings from a stranger?

Had he know that it would breed deadly problems like the ones he was in, he wouldn't have received those blessings.

Adrian slowly walked to the room, feeling his headache worsen every time he made a movement. It was really painful but he managed to pull on a boxer, trunks and an old T-shirt. He couldn't even tie his hair or pass his hand through it. It was really the most painful shower ever.

Adrian grabbed his pillow, set it carefully on the bed and then slowly and carefully laid his head. It was almost 12 midnight which meant that he only had five more hours to sleep. For the first time in two years, Adrian cried and whispered his mother's name. He whispered her name that if she could hear him, she should make him feel better and stronger when he wakes up.

Adrian was heavily crying while he did that and he chanted his mother's name while he cried and suddenly went to sleep.

5 hours later, he heard the alarm clock vibrating and he slowly raised his head only to be surprised that the severe headache had gone. He had a headache but it was just the normal which he took painkillers for before he went downstairs to make breakfast for everyone.

His body was perfect but his hair was still sensitive to touch whenever he touched it but he was gonna be alright. Adrian made breakfast and the family ate it without uttering a word to him. He began his chores and then before he could finish, he experienced a bad headache that made him sit for a moment. He did work just like any other day and tried to avoid everyone and luckily it worked until after dinner in the evening when he was called to the living room.

Adrian was so scared because if it was another beating, he would surely die because he had not completely recovered from the previous one. He went to the living room and found that it was just Jake who had called him. He stood there without saying anything and waited for either another job or a beating.

"Starting tomorrow," Jake began. "You'll have to be cooking lunch for Nicholas and take it to his office. You'll do this every day without fail or else."

Adrian nodded as he didn't want to make any mistakes. There was a lot to be done but he couldn't argue with Jake anymore because he still hadn't regained his lost energy.

"If I hear any complaints, any complaints at all," Jake warned. "You'll be sorry so if I were you, I'd be careful. That's all unless you have questions?"

Of course he had a question. He had no idea where Nicholas' office was and besides, Nicholas had Companies scattered throughout the country that Adrian had no idea which one.

"I don't have his address." Adrian muttered.

"Don't worry," Jake swung his hand sexily in the air. "I'll give it you. Just make sure that the food you deliver is in good shape or it'll be a disaster for you."

Adrian nodded and turned around to go to his room. As soon as he reached the room, he threw his tired, exhausted body on the bed. He prayed for God to help him and for nothing to go wrong. He drifted off to sleep hoping to wake up better.

Nicholas sat on his wonderfully comfy chair, waiting for the food to be brought to his office. It was lunch already and he really hoped for the food to be sent to his office. He's been waiting for that food for long and to pass the time, he took a document and reviewed everything that needed to be done.

About 30 minutes later, his office phone rang and he didn't take any more time to pick it up.

"Hello," Nicholas answered, hoping his secretary was about to tell him about that the boy from Jake's house had brought the food for him. Nicholas really had no idea why he had gone crazy since he had tasted that food that evening.

"Sir, Adrian is here to see you."

Nicholas had no idea who Adrian was but he was sure it was the same boy who had brought the food for him.

"Adrian?" Nicholas sounded confused but he had to allow whoever Adrian was in.

"Fine, let him in."

In just a matter of two minutes there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Nicholas hollered, eager to see who Adrian was.

The door opened and his suspicions were right, it was the same houseboy from Jake's house and he had a basket with him. Somehow, Nicholas got excited to finally know the name of the boy.

Soon as he had entered, Nicholas was staring at him. He was wearing an old jean that made him look so handsome, a yellow t-shirt and brown sandals. His long hair was tied into a ponytail and he was not making eye contact, he was looking straight on the floor.

"Good afternoon?" Adrian greeted his face looking straight on the floor. He couldn't stare at Nicholas because he didn't want to see him for some reason that he was yet to find out.

"Afternoon...Adrian," Nicholas stuttered, wondering the reason why the boy couldn't move his face up. "Are you okay?"

Adrian had no idea why Nicholas had asked if he was okay but he was really fine. He just wanted to drop the food and go back home to do his daily chores before the masters unleashed their anger on him and probably hurt him. He hadn't even recovered from the pain they had inflicted on him on the weekend night.

"I am fine...sir," Adrian stammered. "I just came here to bring you your lunch."

"Oh," Nicholas muttered. "Fine, sit down." Nicholas pointed to the chair in front of his table.

"I am sorry," Adrian finally raised his face to see the handsome hunk seated comfortably on his office chair. "I don't think I have the time to sit. You see, I've to go back home to finish what I was doing."

Nicholas saw that the boy was really not happy and he wondered why. The boy he had met during the weekend dinner had smiled but the boy who was in front of him seemed lost and a little scared. Was Nicholas that scary?

"It's okay," Nicholas chuckled.

Adrian was relieved that he left as soon as he had dropped the basket on the table. He had prepared something scrumptious for Nicholas and he prayed that no complaints came from Nicholas or he would definitely be in big trouble. He really prayed for Nicholas to love the food, his life depended on that choice.

Odd, Nicholas thought. But anyway, he had waited for the food and now that it was here he was gonna dive into it. He quickly got out of his chair, took the basket and took out two large food warmers. There was also a glass jar of orange juice but his mind was on what was inside those warmers.

He quickly opened the warmers and was welcomed by an aroma that filled his whole office. He sniffed the aroma and almost tasted the food using his noise, how insane. Nicholas really hoped the food was as good as it smelt, even better.

Curried yellow rice, curry chicken and sauce and it was really mouthwatering. Nicholas took a plate out, a folk, spoon and knife and served himself. He quickly took a bite and it left a zing in his mouth. It was yummy, tasty, scrumptious and sweet. He ate all of it and got his way with the home made juice which was sweet. As he ate, he found himself thinking about Adrian and his reaction when he had come to the office a few minutes ago.

He had no idea why he was suddenly thinking about a poor boy that he had no relations with. What was really happening to him? Adrian was getting to him like no other person had. Suddenly he found himself getting eager to see the boy and he had no idea why.

Nicholas shook his head and brought himself to reality. He couldn't afford to mess up or he would get it from Jake. He quickly concentrated on the food he was eating and enjoyed every bit of it. He finished everything and by 4.pm the entire juice was done. He felt stuffed and his tummy hurt. He felt like he could live without food for a week but it was worth it and he couldn't wait for the next day when Adrian brings another.

Nicholas was done with the food and while rubbing his tummy he was thinking about Adrian, again. He had a boyfriend and their wedding was gonna be in just a few weeks. Everything was set and in just a few weeks they would be walking hand in hand as husband but why was he not happy that he was getting married to his long time boyfriend, why? He had to do it, he just had to.

He has to do it for his mother who had made the alliance simply because she was friends with Jake's mother.

Nicholas got all the dirty dishes, called his secretary to have them cleaned and signed the last paper he had to sign for the day before his secretary came back with clean plates. He thanked her and later Jake was inside the office kissing him like he was at the verge of killing him.

"I missed you." Jake said, planting a kiss on his hot lips. He loved kissing Nicholas and he couldn't wait to be waking up in his arms.

"I missed you too." Nicholas said, looking straight in Jake's eyes. They were the same eyes that had made him to propose to him years ago. He had sexy eyes that always seemed to be filled with lust and desire. Those grey eyes were simply amazing and suited the handsome face of Jake.

"I hope you've had your lunch." Jake said as he tied his arms around Nicholas.

"Yeah, yeah," Nicholas gushed. "It was delicious, thank you so much honey."

"I hope there was no fault in the food." Jake smiled. Though Jake really hoped there was no fault in the food, he also hoped there was so that he could deal with that excuse of a boy.

"No there was none. In fact I am still stuffed with that delicious food." Nicholas said as he relived that wonderful moment. "I don't even know how to thank you."

"Well, there is one way." Jake winked and Nicholas knew exactly what Jake meant, sex.

Seriously he was not in the mood for sex. It was like all they did was having sex when they were together. The thing was dinner, lunch, sex, sex, sex, sex, geez. They never had conversations like a couple and hence the reason why they argued most of the times. Sometimes Nicholas wondered if he was making the right decision marrying Jake.

"Which way is that?' Nicholas pretended not to know and he hoped for a miracle. Let Jake say anything, shopping, movie, kissing, caressing, anything but sex, Nicholas prayed.

"I want us to..." Jake touched Nicholas' crotch and the guy almost jumped. "...make love and that way you can make it up to me."

Nicholas was really not in the mood but it was his duty to satisfy his fiancé if he didn't want him to cheat on him. Anyways, he was gonna try and get Jake out of the mood.

"Right here," Nicholas exclaimed.

Jake nodded and licked his lips.

"This is still working hours, my love." Nicholas laughed. "I don't want my employees to hear that we are having sex and..."

"Making love," Jake corrected.

"Making love," Nicholas said. It won't just seem appropriate. I have workers coming in and out of my office. I don't want to be the topic of the city especially with my reputation as a famous business man."

"I get it." Jake sounded mad. "I am not just some whore that they'll be discussing. I am your fiancé for crying out loud."

"I know, baby." Nicholas said sweetly, cupping Jake's cheeks, trying to kiss him before he was abruptly rejected. "Please, understand. You are my fiancé and..."

"You have never rejected my advances before." Jake said, trying to suppress his anger. He was burning inside for Nicholas but he was sure Nicholas was doing it on purpose. He was the bottom of the relationship but he had been the head of the relationship and he didn't like Nicholas disagreeing with him.

"I didn't say we won't do it." Nicholas tried to make Jake understand. "I only said this is not a good place for that."

"Fine," Jake literally yelled. "Are you done with all the work?"

"Yes, but..."

"No buts," Jake smiled. "Just take me to one of your hotels and...we'll take it from there."

Nicholas knew he had no say in that department. Whenever Jake wanted sex, he always got sex and that was what Nicholas was going to give him. Nicholas had a room in all his hotels and in just a matter of 30 minutes, they reached one of his hotels and in a matter of minutes, Jake was bouncing on his cock like a maniac. At times it hurt but no matter what he tried to do, Jake wanted sex.

They had sex thrice in two hours and they were sweating so badly. Nicholas pounded Jake so hard just the way he liked it and he came in his ass while the guy slowly moaned his name. Things hadn't always been like that. Sex with Jake used to be so incredible, sweet and passionate but Nicholas had even forgotten the last time he remembered having great sex with his fiancé.

It was like just sex without any emotions attached. Jake used to be nice, sweet and romantic. Man, Nicholas hadn't even remembered the last time he had a romantic conversation with Jake. It was just shopping, lunch, dinner, sex and kisses.

After kissing his boyfriend, they parted ways and Nicholas went home tired, exhausted and extremely satisfied with the heavy lunch that he had at the office. He took a quick bath and went downstairs to have a family conversation with his family. It was really wonderful and he enjoyed every bit of it.

The next day he was eagerly waiting for the food to arrive and it was not long before Adrian came. He was putting on a green old t-shirt, a black cargo short and brown snickers which made him look younger than he had ever seen him. Whatever Nicholas felt at that time, he couldn't say it and as usual, he had his eyes on the floor.

"Hello, Adrian," Nicholas said, moving from side to side on his chair.

"Sir," Adrian greeted, his eyes still glued on the floor. He had no idea why he always felt so shy to look at Nicholas. Perhaps, it was because they had met in a very awkward situation.

"Put the basket on the table." Nicholas said pointing to the table which he was sure the boy couldn't see.

Adrian slowly moved to the table and put the basket on it. He had no idea how to tell Nicholas that Jane had ordered him to come with the basket instead of burdening her son. He had no idea how to tell him that.

"You have to leave, right?" Nicholas asked even though he knew the answer he was gonna get.

"Err...no," Adrian stammered. "I...I'll wait till you are done eating."

"Really," Nicholas asked, trying to sound calm. He didn't know why he got so excited. It was clear the boy was not a lively person but he could at least make eye contact. Nicholas knew that he at least had to try and make the boy talk.

"It's okay," Nicholas smiled. "You can have a seat."

"Is it okay if I wait outside?" Adrian asked. He really felt uncomfortable being around rich people because they gave him shivers. In his mind rich people were the kind of people that were...

"I insist," Nicholas said, getting up to move the chair so the boy could sit.

Adrian didn't like that Nicholas insisted he sits down but he had to. He moved his face to stare into Nicholas' handsome face but he couldn't stare more because he didn't want to be suspected of anything. He sat on the chair playing with his nails while he heard Nicholas moving the basket. Like the day before, Adrian hoped for Nicholas to like the food he had cooked.

Nicholas went back to the table and anxiously opened the basket to find another delicious lunch waiting for him. To his surprise it was Crockpot cool ranch chicken wrap in a large lunchbox. Fuck, Nicholas couldn't remember the last time he had that kind of lunch. It was also accompanied by another homemade orange juice. He couldn't wait to dig into that.

Nicholas rubbed his hands together, opening the large lunch box that released another great aroma. It was great and he couldn't wait to taste it.

"Wow!" Nicholas gushed. "This is wonderful." Nicholas looked at the boy and he was still playing with his nails.

Nicholas took a bite and his whole mouth watered. It was really delicious and sweet. He had never had a ranch chicken wrap as delicious as that one. It was really delicious and he couldn't wait until he swallowed the one in his mouth before he took another bite.

"This is delicious," Nicholas said, taking another big bite. "Where did you learn to make that?"

Adrian didn't know whether to answer or just stay quiet but it was rather rude to keep quiet especially to a rich, powerful man like Nicholas Miller. He had no choice but to answer his question.

"While at school, I took extra classes of home economics and we did all kinds of foods. Besides, I have the recipe book for all the foods I cook." Adrian couldn't believe he had said that confidently. He raised his face to see Nicholas eating his lunch like a little child and he smiled, but not for long.

Nicholas couldn't believe that a houseboy like Adrian had gone to school only to choose to be a houseboy. Wasn't he supposed to be in school?

"You went to school?" Nicholas asked, looking straight at the boy.

"Yeah," Adrian answered.

"Did you drop out?" Nicholas answered, taking another big bite.

"No," Adrian said, raising his face slowly. "I actually graduated at the top of my class but I couldn't afford to go to the university so..."

"You decided to become a houseboy." Nicholas said, as he took the last bite of one of the wraps.

Adrian felt insulted after that statement from Nicholas. He felt so stepped on and low. He had no idea where that came from but he had to tell the guy the whole truth.

"I'm sorry, sir," Adrian said softly. "But I am not a house boy."

Nicholas was about to take a bite on the last chicken wrap but he stopped as soon as he heard that statement from Adrian.

"Don't lie," Nichols chuckled. "I know you are a houseboy and I won't judge you for it. Actually I..."

"It's the truth," Adrian said softly, raising his face and stared into Nicholas' beautiful green eyes. "I have no reason to hide if I was but I am telling the truth, I'm not a houseboy."

Nicholas was sure Adrian was houseboy. Jake himself had confirmed it to him. If he was not a houseboy then what was his role in Jake's house? He was probably a house keeper or something.

"I thought you work at Jake's house." Nicholas said with a complete question mark on his head. "Isn't it the reason you stay at Jake's house?"

Adrian sighed deeply. "I am a part of their family." Adrian said confidently. "Todd is my uncle and Jake is my cousin."
