Just to share a little, my stories are usually based on requests from people I know. They tell me what they want and I try to write something they will enjoy. This series was specifically written for a friend that fantasized sbout having no choice. I wouldn't do that, I use a safeword at all times. Anonymousabout 4 years agoOk, I suppose I did overreact a little. It was actually the title that initially drew me to your story. I tend to associate the word “submissive” with BDSM scenes, I should have been more thorough before I read your story. I’m not a writer I have no illusions about that. Sexual abuse and rape are very strong triggers for me and tend to produce a knee jerk reaction from me. I haven’t read anymore of your story and I don’t intend to, I’m just respond to your justified response to my initial message.
One of the story genres that I do enjoy is “reluctance” but obviously it’s the same category as non consent. I wrote an addendum to my original comment at the end of chapter 2, so in regards to that I wasn’t and wouldn’t presume to speak for all submissives. The male protagonist in your story is undoubtedly a scum bag, the vast majority of people know the difference between right and wrong but his first reaction was to jump in at the deep end to take advantage of her stupidity. If anything the character comes across as the exact opposite of a Dom, after all there’s nothing Safe, Sane or Consensual about what the little turd is doing.
I think the best option is for me to utter the magic phrase, “Your kink is not my kink and that’s ok”. Best of luck with your writing.
