Please put in the appropriate category. This chapter was not BDSM
It has been a while since I have seen anything posted by you. Love the story, and glad to see you back writing. Enjoyed the chapter very much.
Thanks
Tom
"Summer Hire" is over a quarter million words and fifty chapters, with a wide variety of kink within a general setting of BDSM. Based on reader responses to a survey on my website (where you can read the entire book for free), urine play is one of the most disliked bits of kink in the book: http://www.brentaden.com/blog/
Well over half the readers said they hated it. If that’s true for you as well, then don’t worry; there’s not too much urine play in future chapters.
The other bits of kink that readers didn’t like were: male-male sex (36% hated, 14% loved), pony play (29% hated, 21% loved), and lactation play (29% hated, 29% loved). None of these are very prominent in the book, but they are there.
I would resist, however, someone declaring what “is” or “isn’t” BDSM. For me, it is essential to respect the broad diversity of what other people consider BDSM, even if I don’t like a particular activity myself (at least as long as it is safe, sane, and consensual). An important part of Melissa’s journey is learning what she likes and doesn’t like. At times, she struggles to not be judgmental about others. Of course, all of us struggle against our own prejudices. I believe that overcoming intolerance is worth the struggle.
