Trust you and all the folks you know and care about have not been harmed by Irma. Not real "happy" your writing plays 2nd fiddle to the NFL but at least we hungry readers are in the sadism if not on the playing field. :( :( :(

tranzmany: obviously the Town & County is not the real world, but it should be. :o) I do believe that strong (not abusive, but strong) law enforcement and doing the right things by the Constitution are the most effective solutions. Weakness is taken advantage of by thugs who wish to see the Constitution (which is actually what protects those thugs) destroyed. But my stories are written to generate the readers' thoughts on the issues, so what you (plural) come up with may differ from the author's own opinions...

the ol' man: It's not the NFL but college football that 'distracts' me. Readers might be aware that I am a fan of SEC football; not like I haven't given some Easter eggs in that direction. :o) But things are starting to flow for my next series of stories, and some of what you are reading down is laying groundwork.
