You need to build your characters. Try to flesh them out, give them personalities, backgrounds, quirks, something that makes them stand out and lets the reader get to know them.

Personally I think it is a little bit rushed, from where he asks her to sell herself to him, and her agreeing. I didn´t understand her compliance, since she seemed quite fierce to begin with. I think you want to write BDSM and you are rushing to get there.

My best advice is to take your time, dwell on the details and make the story come alive.
